I can't really say for sure. With the current exchange rates, one might say it is highly unlikely but then who knows? Using today's rates, mine would have cost something just above 10.

I think you can find out the range though. Look at the schools and their fee requirements, look at living cost and take a few other things into consideration, you would have a pretty accurate estimate. You can scroll through this thread, it may be tiring but lots of information you would find would be worth your time, at least I could say this for myself.

Obtain the non-EU tuition information for your choice program,

add up with the minimum living expenses balance required by the embassy for your duration of study,

Since your source of funds is Naira, convert your program fees to Naira using any bank's FORM A rate and also with the prevailing black market rate for the day.

The average of both (form A budget and Black market budget) becomes a good minimum budget.

This is beside other economic and social considerations such as if you or your sponsor have dependants.

How long does it take for the embassy to respond to a mail
Re: GENERAL Irish (student)visa & Work Permit-New THREAD*** by dagbada96: 10:30am On Sep 18, 2020
How long did the reply take??
Bonike1:
Hi guys, I am new here and I have seen a lot of information that helps. God bless you all.

However I submitted my study application july 24th, did biometric august 17 and I got a message from visamail@justice.ie to book another accommodation last week which i did, only for me to send a mail to them today and copied Abuja asking for the status of my application and the response i got from Abuja embassy isn't encouraging. Dublin is yet to reply though.

"A decision has been made on your application, it will be sent out tomorrow"

Where those people asked to provide any other thing after their submission??
Bonike1:

Thank you, just that I have seen several people given that same response and it was a refusal. Whereas some were sent a response like" Thank you for your email, the visa application referred to has been approved, contact the courier service for your documents"

During the 14days self isolation will it be possible for one to go house hunting or there’s restricted movement for the 14days?

Good morning house
I'm new on this thread. I'm considering having a masters of public health in Ireland. I finished from University of ibadan MLS with a 2.2.
*What are my chances of getting MPH admission with a 2.2
*Do I need to write any English proficiency exam
*Which schools with a low tution can I apply to (budget is around 7m)
*Does the study visa come with a work permit.
*Will I be qualified for a post study work visa after the completion of the program..if yes..how many years post study work visa
Thanks.

Please is it possible and advisable to pay school fees directly from a fixed deposit account without dropping it to avoid lump in the account.
