I don't know what to say about Alaba because he has been an excellent servant of the club. I hope some compromise can be reached as we can't afford to lose him and Thiago in one window

Guys like Fein, Cuisance, Arp, Zirkzee let's see what they bring to the table. And let's see if Tolisso, Hernandez were not absolute waste of funds

The CL win helped satiated some of my thirst so I am not as desperate as before and I think the management is probablythinking of that too, An opportunity to refresh the team, keep wages low and reduce the age of the side

He's not a lampard or Gerrard who takes games by scruff of their necks, scoring goals and that.
His work is he controls the flow of the game, through quick thinking, sharp turns, and amazing passing ability from deep...
Even in the games vs Liverpool, he was one of the few Bayern players who came out with credit.
There's not a time I've watched thiago in the CL where he doesn't boss the midfield, which is why Bayern mostly control games, even the games they lost like the medrid encounters.

Alaba isn't needed at LB at the moment cos Bayern already have a gem playing there in Alphonso Davies.
He will start at LB for most top clubs in Europe.
He put in a shift at CB those years, last season was his first full season at CB..

2019 after Vidal left was when Thiago started becoming an undisputed starter Thiago Martinez James was the preferred
2020 after James left and Kovac was sacked. It became Kimmich- Thiago - Muller with Leonidas, Tolisso Coutinho off the bench
Basically Thiago became undisputed starter in his last 2 seasons at Bayern

How can he be the best midfielder throughout his stay when he can not even make the first 11 in 5 of 7 seasons. He wasnt the only one having injuries truth was his displays were not good enough in those 5yrs to demand a starting shirt.

It was when Vidal Schweini and Alonso left that he was able to make a starting berth

Xabi despite not being peak Xabi still commanded a regular shirt more than Thiago, Same with Lahm in midfield, Same with Schweini, Same with Vidal

A season brilliance in 7 does not make you the best midfielder at a club like Bayern where many great players have passed

Maybe those of us who watch him weekly will have a better opinion than you that watched only a few games in the CL in just one season out of 7

Talent means nothing is you are not on the field to showcase yourself. James Rodriguez can be argued to be one of the most talented players in Madrid but he cannot even make the team will anyone call him one of the best Madrid players
