You are right on the money..It’s funny because Mitch said the direct opposite when Scalia passed and election was around the corner. Infact, Schumer used his direct words against him.
The Supreme Court is already tilted towards the conservative ideology with the recent appointments of Kavanaugh and Gorsuch.

The Republicans apart from being lucky to have had more Presidents than the Democrats in recent history (hence more Supreme Court appointments) have also appeared to play the Supreme Court game better.

They will definitely try to push a nomination through before the election.........just in case Trump loses. That would be crazy cos it would mean Trump would have appointed 3 justices in 4 years.

Yea, i know it favours the republicans since they hold the majority in the senate. I'm asking as to the effect it will have on the general elections, which party do you think this situation will favour more in the upcoming generals?
