Yes at the moment, the APC chairmanship has been handed to a northerner.
Who's the cause? Is it not your Obaseki? Its it not your obaseki that sponsored litigations, individuals with Edo state money just to disrupt Oshiomoles's tenure. His benefactor for that matter, someone that fought for him and his deputy, making them what they are today.

An apt view of exactly what we all know.
Both camps have a large similar amount of supporters, with Obaseki holding a very slight edge due to the Benin metropolis. However, this edge isn't enough to withstand the rigging forces of the APC in place today. Of course, the PDP will equally rig, but with what happened to Wike yesterday, it's obvious they're being curtailed.

Personally, none out of the two are Edo's best choice, but as Nigerians will have it, they usually limit themselves to these two failed parties.

Kudos to Obaseki for fighting such a battle sha, against the odds.Congrats, if he suprisingly wins.

OP sorry to comment on your post. Which of the Benin are you talking about? Benin city of Republic of Benin? How can Obaseki have slight edge in Benin? How? Maybe the Edo state you're talking about is different from the one I'm currently in. Are you on twitter seeing videos of security men taking people's voters card? Nairaland stinks of a high degree of hypocrisy. Obaseki won in 2016 through the same political and rigging machinery, now some people are crying foul because he is now in an opposition party. As if Obaseki as the incumbent governor has not made his own plans to rig this election.
