saskatoonguy: Thanks for the headsup Baba.. Well on a good day that schools are open, I hardly have time to come on here to say a thing, I'll just read and Pass. Its the lockdown that's keeping me glued to this thread. and I believe even those in Canada are also indoors. I'm a travel freak and love to see new places, virtually or Physically, thats why I'm always yearning to see places in Canada, which u know I'll get there. Buh u see that Nairaland Methuselah screaming up and down like his father owns Canada, his own is too much. once again, Thanks for the "Elderly Advice" 4 Likes 2 Shares |

And some refreshing pics Downtown Hamilton, Ontario.. Pic 3. George Hamilton Pub, the oldest Pub in Hamilton, located at downtown, around McMaster University... Downtown is generally regarded as shady with lots of drugs dealing and all vices.. 8 Likes

I was always afraid the lights had gone off when it appears as if the fridge has stopped working.. Obviously the thermostat regulating the temperature. The lights has not blinked. My shoes hardly get dirty even after walking hundreds of metres. As a youth try and explore other worlds, Nigeria is an upside down country - this is the best way I can describe it as I am short of words. A country where a PhD holder answers sir to a school certificate holder. Has it been easy, sure no. But the pain is worth it. Well worth it. Last word, don't do it for yourself, do it for your kids, your future generation, they will one day thank you. 37 Likes 2 Shares |

Changeofscene:You people focus your energy on issues that are literally not your business. I really don't understand this energy. We talk damn too much. Social media and the online space thrives on content. Maybe they shouldn't litter the thread with YouTube links? That's a different conversation. But saying they should not create YouTube videos or contents? Like yooooo! Lol. Let people do whatever makes them comfortable. If it's a YouTube channel, podcast, webinar, allow people be!! I for one, will start a YouTube channel when I get to the maple land. You better be ready...ugh! 30 Likes |

ninjalino: Hello...Firstly, look beyond Edmonton. You just landed, where you eventually find work will be your home for the main time. Secondly, check requirement for a desktop support roles, try to get some certifications ( CompTIA A+ and N+) will be a good place to start also try and get your Class 5 as early as possible, most support role will require you to do certain % of driving/travelling. Update you LinkedIn Profile that will also help. Most of the interviews I got were from LinkedIn. Good Luck. 11 Likes 2 Shares |
