I went in wondering what kind of plot this drama had to have to been so highly rated with rave reviews, I was left completely hooked and floored which is surprising considering this drama had none of the conventional drama formulas or tropes I settle for.

It wasn't a romcom, had no compelling romantic storyline, didn't have an annoyingly possessive chaebol heir, a down-on-her-luck candy or a predictable plot but the drama hit close to home for me. The sheer illogical desperation and the lengths helicopter parents go to project their own values of success on their offspring.

I was conflicted to love and hate the characters and that’s what had me hooked. Their struggles felt real, I didn't agree with their methods of trampling anyone to get their children to the top but I couldn't condemn it either because they're merely trying to survive a damned system and give their kids a highly platform, more connections and networking options to get up farther on the ladder of success.

Easily the best Kdrama I've seen.

I'm religiously following the list of highest rated Kdramas according to Nielson.
Number 1 is World of The Married so I'm going to see it instead.

Is the rating for all time? If it is then the world of the married is not the BEST kdrama ever but it sort of deserved that rating for a jtbc drama, it was really really good. Just prepare to be frustrated

JUST TRYING TO MOVE ON.

What happened was a very unfortunate incident and I still have no words.

I watched you grow as a an artist, a performer and as a person.

You learned to put others before yourself in consideration of their feelings

You stood up for things you didn’t agree with, apologized when you were wrong, shared whatever emotions your team mates felt. You were a team player after learning from your mistakes, you kept me by your side with your actions and not just words.

Just because of how perfect and unbothered you always were, The first time I saw you cry wasn’t for you but for someone you cared for dearly and I thought to myself oh he is human afterall.

You were always number one on the show and it wasn’t by any special treatment, never went to ground, always got the best reviews from the judges, it was just a pleasure to watch you.

I know that all these things are now in a closed chapter but I can guarantee that in your case, the book is just beginning. Take everything that makes you special with you and you will always be the best.
