JustCryptos: The chemical name is Action 40. You should be able to get it anywhere they sell herbicide or other related chemicals. There is also a plant that repel snakes, the name is Termogine flower (common name). That might take a longer time to grow. It is better you go for the chemical. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Hello everyone, I am a silent reader of the thread and have been following the thread for a while now. I have a plot of land in an estate which has a setback that needs to be followed when drawing the building plan. I need the service of an architect that is ARCON certified and a COREN engineer that is well experienced. Kindly contact via my number in my signature/profile. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Hello, I have a building that has gotten to roofing stage. I have tried contacting some of the core members that I have seen here but no response. Is Money121 still into roofing? Please can anyone recommend a trustworthy supplier? 2 Likes |

kenpower: Probably it could be the client choice to have 3 WC in a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 ensuite or maybe not, I still believe there should be a balance between architectural details and practicality, usefulness and functionality. An apartment should be a community living not a private room or dormitory. I have been to a handful of Building Fair I am yet to see architecture/floor plan overkill like SOME architect do, it gives me the idea they don't utilised their expertise to advise the client. |

I need advice from expert in the house pls. I want to build a two deck (2 storey) and my Engr said we are going to use the this foundation type I uploaded in this picture. Pls should I tell him to go on? I have not seen where people dug foundation for pillars only, chained it and casted DPC and followed up the block formation. Is this really going to carry the the two storey building?

saydfact:A client may a have a request but it's the duty of the architect to let the client know the usefulness, cost, maintenance, functionality and flexibility. An experienced architect once told me never design a bedroom or garage that you cannot convert to an office or a house you can not sell in the future. 3WC and 2 bathrooms in 2 bedroom is an overkill. 1 Like |

omanzo02: My last project was a 7 bedrooms duplex and they are all ensuite plus a Visitor's toilet downstairs. It's all based on choice. No Architect can convince me otherwise because that is what I want. May be overkill but not for me, that is what is called personal choice. But in my rented houses, of course not. Hajji M. 3 Likes |

Pls house I just moved into my place. My concern is i have killed 4 scorpions in about 2 weeks. 3 baby ones and an average size one. I am concerned how it could be getting in. DPC was done. Floors r tiled (except 2 toilets i ll do later) I usually see it in the parlor and it is tiled. How can i eradicate it? How do i even know where they are hiding. I have swept everywhere and didn't see it. I fumigated in August before moving in. Thanks |
