Well in all these... Ebuka is to be blamed.

If he had not called nengi out that night, if he had just left Nengi to keep flirting with the guys like Kidd was advising her to in the house back then, maybe Ozo wouldn't have invested this much into nengi in the first place. Because it was after that night nengi decided to stick to Ozo and take advantage of his feelings for her.
