You need to go see a doctor about your sleep episodes. What you describe sounds a lot like a sleep disorder, or it could be your anxieties finally seeping into your sleep.

A week before you go to see the doctore, start keeping a sleep diary.. document what happens to you each time before bed, during and after you wake up the next morning. Then take the diary with you when you go see your doctor.
