GAZZUZZ: Thinking of pimping my ride landing by the end of this month, I like this rim but would want it in exchange for the standard rims. It's a 2007 Toyota camry (spider). How much can I budget for it including the formica interior trims, all exchange with the silver standard LE type?Though wasn't really budgeted for but would have loved to get it done before car leaves Lagos, if affordable. |

GAZZUZ Sir, we noticed that my 2010 Highlander with 2.7L engine is shortening oil. I did the first service about 3 months ago using Mobil 5w 20 extended performance. That was the first service since purchase from Dubai. I drove it for about 2 months before this service and there was no shortage of oil all through. No smoke, no strange sound. I bought it and ran a scan on it before I shipped it to Nigeria myself, no issues. Pls sir, what do you advice? |

drkay: It is a 2AR-FE engine , stop relying on what was written on the cap , and follow what is written in the vehicle manual. Oils thicker than 0-W20 WILL NOT HURT THE ENGINE. use 5w30 or 5w40 engine oil oil burn will reduce significantly . 2 Likes

Hi Gazzuzz, My mechanic advised me to raise the suspension on my camry 2009. The car is low and due to roads I often scrape the bottom. I was wary of it but it was done. Now when I am driving it just doesn’t give me that balance and I fear it’s a terrible mistake. Please advise how i can correct this. |

Hello, I have a code P0741 on my Toyota Matrix, seeking possible solutions because I have this weird experience esp using the dipstick when the engine is cold the oil is lower on the cool bar on the stick when the engine is hot is way above the hot mark point on the dipstick. Torn between adding more oil or not, had the code and I had the oil changed and the underpan removed and filter changed. After using one 4 litre can still confused on if to add some more or not. Please help |

Niiade: Thermal expansion is the tendency of matter to change in volume in response to a change in temperature. Your fluid volume is perfect. For the transmission, did you at any time replace engine ECU aka brainbox? |

Is it advisable to buy new original bearing to put inside hub than buying a tokunbo hub? Car is a 2005 corolla, the more I accelerate, the more the humming sound increases. |

martyns200: Your pocket will determine. Original bearings are pricey (about ₦40k a pair) used wheel hubs on the other hand are cheaper but with unknown mileage covered. |

Hello @Gazzuzz My 09 Hyundai Accent is throwing up a code P0230 - Fuel Pump Primary Circuit Malfunction, please I need a solution to this as currently the car is unable to leave the first gear when it moves and the engine goes off after a while. |

Good evening oga gazzuzz. Kindly advise My 07 corolla keeps wetting a particular spark plug and it drags when accelerated or when ac is switched on. The engine too keeps vibrating when ignition is turned on. Mechanic says they will have to change the valves and gasket. What do you advise please. P.S we have changed the nozzles and it's just that one plug that keeps getting wet |

GAZZUZZ: Well done GAZZUZZ. Please do you have an idea of how much the transmission of BMW 525I 2005 could cost? Getting just the valve body for the car I use seems be wahala and I may consider it double spending. To avoid double spending, I am thinking of changing it. Kindly advise |

@gazzuzz long time boss. Abeg I just got a 2013 Honda Accord (black) but I honesly love how the car looks like in metallic silver. So I need your honest opinion on color change. I just went through your accord rebuild and I don’t mind the sikkenns paint, but what do you think honesly of color change. Resale value isn’t a bother to me |

GAZZUZZ: Thank you for reply. I didn’t change the ECU at anytime, watched some videos on changing solenoid but I don’t know if there is really a solenoid in the transmission just confused thank you |

Hello Sir GAZZUZZ Please my camry envelope power steering is strong and only gets soft when in motion. One mech said it's to change the power steering pump Another said with 5k he can work on the power steering pump. Please what's advisable for me to do. Give to mech that said total change of pump, and please how much do you think the pump will cost. Or Give to the one that said he can repair the pump with 5k. Thanks as i await your response. |
