[quote author=Valentinooo post=94099675]On the 7th of March, I ordered a phone which was shipped on the 18th of March. Ever since then, nothing has been heard of it. The memory card I intended to use with the phone was ordered two days later, and that one has since arrived. From the lamentations on the aliexpress thread, I noticed a lot of people are also in my situation. They bought phones which refused to deliver whereas the accessories they ordered days after ordering the phone got delivered. This lead to the assumption that nipost staffs are deliberately holding on to these phones for reasons best known to them. I don't want to believe these phones are being stolen by those that are meant to deliver them to us. Why will I buy a phone with my hard earned money only for it to be stolen by people who are meant to deliver the phone? This is corporate robbery and should be condemned. How will a phone come all the way from China without missing only for it to get to Nigeria and get missing? I have to create this new thread to make our plight known to the whole world. I have also tagged those who are having this same issue. cc: iscom xtremer saint2ace Emily22 Uchepele Lemonz shadeshadow mctfopt Amocee Olamak1 genius43 Cherryberry456 peterincredible osadolor153 stanisbaratheon searay VeeVeeMyLuv Samuelon sobality lalasticlala As it stands now, courier services seem to be a bit reliable if one can afford such services. |

I stopped sending stuffs to Nigeria through currier services since 2014 after the items got to Nigeria as indicated by the tracking number only for it to get stuck at nipost through a ridiculous and outrageous clearing fee that was 5 times more than the worth of the phone I sent to a friend and it happened again with another item sent to Nigeria and got stuck at Nipost with another ridiculous clearing fee demands then it became clear to me that Nipost is nothing but a legalized fraudulent business center run by certified thieves on government payrolls. 10 Likes |

Use the tracking number to know the status. With the status, you can ask the shipper or the shipping company where your product is. Valentinooo: |

Valentinooo:Na our people they do themselves, see ineptitudes everywhere,if the company is being Privatized now, they will now start nonsense protest. This is very bad for our image and people too should stop channeling things through them. NIPOST,NNPC,NTA,should be privatized with F.g owning nothing more than 25% stake. You people should tagged OFFICIAL NIPOST PAGE and minister in charge, send email copying their regulator, that should be pantami If you all cannot bombard his Twitter handle below, tag him with oshibajo, lai Mohammed and Buhari thing will continue, below is Isa pantamo's twitter page: https://mobile.twitter.com/isapantami?lang=en 6 Likes |

Write a formal petition to NCC, Public Complaints Commission, Consumer Protection Agency and watch and see positive result. You don't have to visit respective offices of these agencies. Just send email to them. 1 Like |

You guys should stop using free shipping that goes directly to nipost. Those guys will make us look like criminals, i have lost parcels when amazon shipped my items with them. Now i use a private shipping company. I haven't lost any single item except a shattered screen guard |

The first time I used NIPOST as delivery medium for my goods, after a long wait time, I saw that my package was tampered with. I was lucky I received everything though. That day, I vowed never to use them again. That was over 7 years ago. I pray you guys finally get your goods 2 Likes |

thunder74:I'm sure that you've been refunded. What do you still want? We know everyone is capitalising on covid19... The truth is, Nigeria will definitely soon be blacklisted. Because of lack of prompt updates on delivery, many people will receive their items and still refuse to confirm their orders in order to still get refunded. THIS IS NOT FAIR! 2 Likes |

BoboNogoDie: The bolded is the reason this I'll has gone on for so long and nobody is talking, so because one gets a refund, he or she should turn a blind eye to the wrongs being done? Have u thought of the poor business man trying to make a living that didn't get paid cos someone somewhere is helping him or herself to "free" items. Have we asked ourselves why so many shops close on AliExpress? It is situations like this. Please let's be guided in our utterances and always put ourselves in the shoes of these individuals. What's wrong is wrong simple.... 7 Likes |
