As it stands now, courier services seem to be a bit reliable if one can afford such services.

I stopped sending stuffs to Nigeria through currier services since 2014 after the items got to Nigeria as indicated by the tracking number only for it to get stuck at nipost through a ridiculous and outrageous clearing fee that was 5 times more than the worth of the phone I sent to a friend and it happened again with another item sent to Nigeria and got stuck at Nipost with another ridiculous clearing fee demands then it became clear to me that Nipost is nothing but a legalized fraudulent business center run by certified thieves on government payrolls.

Use the tracking number to know the status. With the status, you can ask the shipper or the shipping company where your product is.

So sorry this is happening to you. Is there a possibility to choose DHL for delivery and pay any customs due at the point of sale as opposed to paying for it on arrival. Or better still make person just waka enter Slot to solve all this problem. I hope you get help here...

I deliberately did not confirm receiving the order to see if the tracking status will be updated.

I checked today and the tracking status is still "dispatched to destination country".

I believe the covid-19 lockdown and the lack of tracking update from NIPOST presented a window of theft (of valuable items) for unscrupulous NIPOST staff.

At this point, it's best to order only inexpensive items until everything normalizes.

This is just my opinion.

This is really unbecoming.
Nigeria seems to be fantastically corrupt in all spheres.

How I'm I to go about this and it most be at good rate with the one we use to order.

It equally happened to me I ordered for umidigi phone and umidigi A3 screen since July 11 and I've since received that of screen more than a month now but the phone is yet to arrive. I opened dispute but AliExpress says I should hold on till October 4 that the phone has arrived in Nigeria. Pls something has to be done to stop this because it's giving Nigeria bad image abroad

To be sincere with you nipost worker stole this items , I was a victim in 2017 they stole 4 apple laptop and 4 iPhone 7

Write a formal petition to NCC, Public Complaints Commission, Consumer Protection Agency and watch and see positive result. You don't have to visit respective offices of these agencies. Just send email to them.

The first time I used NIPOST as delivery medium for my goods, after a long wait time, I saw that my package was tampered with. I was lucky I received everything though. That day, I vowed never to use them again.

That was over 7 years ago.

I ordered Samsung Galaxy S20 plus, IPhone Xs Max (2), Samsung Galaxy S20, and IPhone Watche Series 5 from Wish.com since July and up till now, I have not seen not received any of the above item. The phone pouches I ordered separately for the phone have been delivered.
