ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU SPEAKS ON EDO JUST CONCLUDED POLL!!! "We should enjoy and take pleasure from our defeats as much as we take from our victories. The extent and length they go to see us down shows how great we are. Our defeats should be a lesson that we are not gods, that we are but men. That we are mortals who suffer from set backs, betrayals... But if our fellow men see us as gods and celebrate our defeats like they've defeated gods, then surely we must be close to being gods. They seek schadenfreude at our shrine but we only have to give, exactly what they hate us for. -Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. APC National Leader 11 Likes 4 Shares |

Afterall, every battle Oshiomhole has fought, won and lost, is because of Tinubu. As APC chairman, he fought Tinubu's battles. All the Governors and Ministers that had/have 2023 Presidential ambition, automatically became Oshiomhole's enemies, and he tried so hard to wrestle the APC party structures from them, in their respective states. He did it with Ibikunle Amosun in Ogun state, Yari in Zamfara state, Rotimi Amaechi in Rivers, Rochas Okorocha in Imo. That is aside the dirty work in places like Lagos (to silence Ambode), Oyo ( to silence Tegbe). The only reason Fayemi got the APC ticket for Ekiti was because Buhari was behind him gidigba. Tinubu and Oshiomhole were fronting Segun Oni. Opeyemi Bamidele even got shot in the arm by unknown people during a rally for Fayemi. So, Baba Tinubu just go and calm down abeg. 16 Likes |

Tinubu has got to relax and stop flaunting his muscle. He caused the decision that afttected the sudden decline in people's interest in voting for APC in Edo State. Edo is indigenous! Edo is truly not Lagos... 13 Likes |

I really do t think there is anything to be ashamed of for losing Edo State. In life, you lose some and win some. Yesterday was for PDP, tomorrow will be APC’s turn to win and celebrate. What is most important is that a free, fair and credible election was conducted. Hopefully, PDP will be humble enough and not heat up the polity with their usual “democracy is in danger” nonsense when APC wins in another election. For APC, the focus should now be on Ondo. Tinubu and every leader of the party must do everything within the rules to endure the party wins the state. Ondo must not be lost to the hyenas. 6 Likes 1 Share

Nobody is impressed by all this big grammar. Nigerians are much wiser now. Tinubu's greed and overbearing nature have led to defeat after defeat. APC national exco? He lost out. Edo? He lost out. Next up is Ondo. The man is being surgically cut down to size, and it's a joy to behold. Edo no be Lagos. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Enemies within. I really cannot fathom how Tinubu did so wrong by campaigning for Ize Iyanmu. Top PDP chiefs campaigned for Obaseki.; Atiku, Wike, Udom, Saraki, Dino. Despite the ever absent Buhari not doing anything Tinubu campaigned for his party candidate and the whole country called it godfatherism. Nothing could be closer to the truth; the extent to which your adversaries celebrate your downfall gives an incline to your greatness. I hope they will also remember to congratulate the America Visa ban after the Edo election. I hope they will also remember the "no to godfatherism" after the Ondo election. I hope they will also remember to totally keep the name Buhari out of their mouths after the Ondo election. 2 Likes |

seunmsg: I am not sure APC would win Ondo state, especially now that Edo State (neighbouring state) has broken away from their shakles. Before now, my friends in Ondo State complained bitterly about the Governor, Akeredolu... and confirmed that people wouldn't vote him in for second term. Probably things changed for a while BUT the situation now has reaffirmed their commitment 1 Like 1 Share |

christejames: Although , it will take a while! Some groups have started building up within Lagos called IBILE group (Native of Lagos). They are scattered through the five divisions in Lagos. They are packaging themselves to resist the continuous rule of Asiwaju Tinubu ,especially that those that have been at the helms of affair in Lagos State are not truly Lagos State Indigene ,starting from himself ...and the fact that ,there are growing concerns that Lagos is in the hands of one-man! #freeLagos is already ON. 3 Likes |

IamCookie:The truth is that elections have been won and lost. Many blame the President and I don't know why. Should the President had gone to Edo to vote or send his security people to run Edo down? wellingtongrey: The outcome of Edo election has no bearing on Ondo election. When APC lost Ekiti in 2014 to Fayose, the party restrategized and won Osun a month later despite the heavy handedness of Jonathan in that election. APC's major problem in Ondo is the internal wraggling within the party. As things stands now, they have been able to achieve about 90% reconciliation. The outcome of Edo will even push them to unite and for more for the party. The fact that the current deouty governor is contesting is also a plus to APC. Those opposed to the governor's re-election will share their votes between Jedege and Agboola. I can't see a path to victory for PDP in Ondo election. 2 Likes |
