I understand Omeruo may be on the move soon to a La Liga side. That's the latest I got. But nothing concrete yet.

Also, more news. Jamilu Collins will likely join Union Berlin. Deal looking close to being done. Hopes nothing squashes it.

Wow

Good one for Collins

I seldom comment on this thread, but I have to comment on this very one.

I personally hate to see ardent football fans defending lackluster players; and yes! Onauchu fall into this category. I'm not hating bro. But that guy has done little to nothing to merit a National Team call-up. I take time to follow our players week-in week-out to see how each of them are balling in their respective FC(s). But then, this Onauchu of a guy doesn't really have what it takes to be in the NT. With all due respect bro, the Super Eagles need to win the next edition of AFCON, and even getting to the World Cup Quater-Finals. I love all our players, and I always pray they all succeed. But Onauchu case is quite different. A good striker MUST be Osimhen's-like. Pacy, Strength, Ball-Sense, and all. Besides Nig vs Egy friendly, can you recall another match where Onauchu did so well? That's why our country hardly go far in big tournaments, because we give room for so much sentiment to becloud our reasoning.

Onauchu isn't good enough for the current Super Eagles! Onauchu is slow, and we need pacy forwards. Imagine front-three like: Ejuke, Osimhen, Chukwueze. Just imagine those three for a minute lipsrsealed. I think nna only GOD fit stop these three if they're on COUNTER! Now, can you substitute a pacy "Goal Machine" for Onauchu and still be able to play a SPIRITED counter-attacking football?

In my honest opinion, I think Cyriel Dessers should be given a chance to prove himself.

With the current crops of players we're parading, I see the Super Eagles playing a more counter-attacking football.

I'm not criticizing you boss! It's just my opinion.

I know my English isn't that good. I still deh learn sad

Am in support with everything u wrote. The Nigerian Super Eagle team needs fast/pacey forwards since counter attack is our playing philosophy!

It's finally out and the goalkeeping department calls for serious concern.

for the experience yes but in terms of helping scout for talent i think his time with chelsea was hit and miss

I wouldn't say Emelano is hit and miss, he discovered the likes of dbruyne and ok.
I can still remember the dbruyne incident very well, when he asked that chelsea should sign him, lots of chelsea coaches wer not convinced he will succeed in the EPL, but due to his influence at that time Dbruyne was signed.
Same thing happened to the chelsea youth team also, when the money came in other board members said that the money should be utilized elsewhere but he stood his ground that the money should be invested in an academy for the club, he sold his idea to Abrahmovic and convinced him, today Chelsea have one of the best academy in the world.
He also started the chelsea loan army stuff.
Michael Emelano will be a good fit for that position.

I like the goalkeepers list the most. Real clearance of Akpeyi and co....throw the small boys in, so, they can start getting that experience early. We're looking at potentially, a decade+ of service

The opposition will be good to test the young bloods.

I like the list. I don't know what some people are wtf-ing about it, who una for put?

Abeg, wetin do Uzoho? He hasn't played enough? Semi Ajayi too

no he hasn't played any games yet I guess rohr wants him fully fit before a recall.

as for total clearance of all the old keepers i suspect ezenwa could have been omitted due to inactivity and travel restrictions due to covid (not sure if Austrian embassy has resumed issuing visas

If we are planning to have a clear undisputed number 1 that will last like 10 years we need to forget goalkeeper like ezenwa he his a below average goalkeeper and won't be better than that let the young guys keep fighting for the clear no1
