APC? That guy made a big mistake when he defected from APGA. Nobody wan hear anything APC again.
You don't know what you are saying. Abians never hated APC, PDP made that narrative for political reasons and secondly, APC was never formidable before now

Many are outside Abia so they don't understand.
Moreover, the opposition parties aren't ready.

That's what l just replied someone. Formidable opposition has been Abians problem. When Oti came in 2015, he go our support but was political naive. Politice is not for gentlemen.

I can see how you want to stylishly make this thread an Orji Uzor Kalu affair. But I won’t let you do that. Focus on the main topic. The point remains that Alex Otti is coming stronger come next election. Theodore Orji and his goons should get ready.
OUK is his leader in APC in Abia state. another godfather surfacing in Abia state. Abians won't vote for APC in 2023.

Orji Uzo Kalu a changed man? Impossible. A leopard never changes its spots. There is no doubt that Alex Oti is a good man, but his hobnobbing with Orji Uzor Kalu will be his albatros in 2023. By the way, the tussle between Alex Oti and Uche Ogah for the APC gubernatorial ticket would be epic.
UdechiHD:
Orji Uzor Kalu is a changed man. The mistake he made by bringing Theodore Orji is still haunting him till today. He now wants to correct all his wrongs, and backing Alex Otti for Governor is the right step in the right direction.

By pushing for Alex Otti a former Diamond Bank MD shows he want the greatness of Abia state. And again, Alex Otti isn’t a man you can push around easily. Joining the APC was a strategic move and a lot of Abians welcome it.

Otti Declares for APC, Vows Continued Struggle to Liberate Abia

By Emmanuel Ugwu

Former governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia State, Mr. Alex Otti, yesterday formally declared for the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying that he was still committed to the struggle to liberate Abia from bad governance.

Otti was received into his new party at his Nvosi Ward 5 in Isiala Ngwa South local government with party leaders and members in the ward and local government enthusiastically welcoming him into APC.

He was first received by the ward chairman. Francis Nnamdi, who took him to the leader of the party in the w ard, Chief Victor Amata, who then presented “the big fish” they caught to the local government chairman of the party, Ezinwa Nwuzo.

In his speech entitled ‘Always for the good of the people’ Otti explained that he joined APC to further seek ways to give a new lease of life to the people of Abia which the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had failed to do since 1999.

But he acknowledged that quitting APGA after being its flag bearer in 2015 and 2019 was a very tough decision which took long in coming but nonetheless came at the right time.

“My decision to leave APGA was not an easy one and it was not taken overnight,” he said, adding that “it was a decision based on my unshakable belief that it was for the good of the people and my great state of Abia.”

Alluding to his governorship ambition which he was yet to realise, the former bank boss said that he hadn’t given up chasing his dream because “if you embark on a journey, you’ll keep on walking until you get to your destination.”

According to him, when he left his top position in the banking sector to join politics, he was “never under any illusion that the journey would be long, rough and treacherous” hence he vowed that liberating Abia from bad governance remains a task that must be done.

“We sincerely believe in a dream – the dream of improving the circumstances of our people. That dream will not die,” he assured.

Otti lamented that Abia had remained in the choking stranglehold of “a monster called PDP” which was making it difficult for the state to breathe.

He said that the vicious grip of bad governance had only yielded negative development indices for Abia as the state had continued to move in circular motion under the control of incompetent leaders without vision.

Otti made a clarion call for all well-meaning Abians to rise up and join in the struggle to liberate God’s own state from bad governance and “end government of looters by looters”.

After the welcome ceremony at the local level Otti was escorted in a convoy to the state capital, Umuahia where he was presented to the state executives of Abia APC headed by Hon Donatus Nwankpa.

Only those who hate Abia state would allow the monstrous rule of plunderers to continue. Even Nnamdi Kanu would welcome Alex Otti’s Governorship ambition. So in this case, I wish Abia good. This why I want the APC to take over the state.
Exactly though I hate APC but PDP government in Abia had made the state a laughing stock.

Arrant nonsense!!! The Ngwa clan of Abia State still has more eight years to complete the equation. It appears most Nigerians have lapses in memory. I remember Abia State started with Onu, Kalu and Orji. All from Bende\Afikpo axis. My Ngwa axis has only eight years and some folks seemed eager to change the flow. It will not happen. After Ikpeazu, the baton shifts to Ukwa\Ndoki.

The insincerity of dumbass Africans is piece of art work. This Otti of a dude also forgot to realize that Abia State had remained in the strangle hold of people from Bende\Afikpo. The Ngwa\Ukwa clans need additional eight years in order to have the equation slightly balanced.

Keep shouting 8 more years, especially when your son has failed to deliver the first 8 years given to you people. If you’re not ashamed of youself, can you think and ask why the politicians keep dividing you people along a non-existent Ohuhu and Ngwa tribal line? Was that how it was when MI Okpara was Premier? Was that how things were when Dee Sam Mbakwe ruled old Imo? Greed only destroys, and that is the part the evil men in power have made you guys believe since when Abia state was created in 1991. This was the nonsense you guys were doing before Afikpo decamped to Ebonyi state in 1996.

While evil politicians in Abia north kept shouting the Ohuhu mantra, the likes of those in Abia south, continued with the Ngwa chants. Yet, you people can not sit down and ask question? Question like who is benefiting from the looting in Abia state? Is it the common man or the thieves in power.

Ngwa is in power today, yet nothing has changed. So who would you people blame again for the underdevelopment of Aba? As a matter of fact, a lot of neutral watchers were made to believe that only an Ngwa man can fix Aba, especially as many of you from that axis kept chanting it. But today, nothing has changed. If Sam Mbakwe a non-Ngwa (Okigwe) can make Aba what it is today, it tells you one thing. A good leader isn’t about brotherhood. A good leader can come from anywhere and enforce a legacy.

You had Abaribe as Deputy Governor and he did nothing. Abaribe has even been in the Senate since 2007 without impacting Aba. Now Okezie Ikpeazu from the same Ngwa has continued from the failed path of others before him, leaving Abia in rot. And yet, you open your big mouth dey ask for 8 more years. Tomorrow you people will be the ones showing ugly pics of the rot in Aba, and weeping like clowns.

Are you not ashamed of yourself? Tomorrow you’ll be shouting Biafra, carrying IPOB flag up and down but your heart is evil. No wonder we have a lot of jobless IPOB miscreants from that axis, following Abaribe and Kanu up and down. And when election comes, these are the same youth that will tell you not to vote Alex Otti, but another looter among the cabals in Abia.
