Something hit me hard on the VO... "The applicant don't want to advance her Education in Canada" I don't have advice to give on this though, but try not to apply with this situation again, not to even adjust it..... find a totally new idea. Matildabenn1: 1 Like |

I applied for my study permit sometime in September. Biometrics request and background check followed immediately. I got Medical request in less than a week. I should also mention that I got admission into two top schools (masters program) within record time. I didn’t rely on how good my applications might look, but I held on to faith in God, that my case will be different. When I applied for my study permit, I prayed that my application will not exceed 1month by Gods grace, not knowing it would take far less than a month. Also for my admissions, I specified the week I would receive admission from the two schools. Lo and behold, the admissions came one day apart in that specific week. Nothing is impossible with God! This story is just tip of the iceberg of how powerfully I have experienced God. All things are possible for anyone who has faith in God. Let’s always rely on God, I promise, people would think you are doing jazz...lol Please I’m not saying don’t do the hard work oh, but don’t put your faith in your hard work. So many “perfect” applications have been rejected. My final advice - don’t just pray, be specific in your prayers, it shows your level of faith before God. Peace! 13 Likes 1 Share |

goodevening house , i wish everyone a successful new week on this journey . i have been getting lots of pms and i would like to drop this here for everyone. Please OWN your study permit application process, sop , everything yourself because no one can sell you better than you can sell yourself. yes get tips and suggestions on what to do but ultimately do what you decide to do you are responsible for the outcome. i had a lot of conflicting information and contrary advise but i stuck to my guns, paid my fees and started classes , i kept sending them web forms and emails with documents i knew i had uploaded. i sent my medical and it was updated the next day even though i had submitted all two weeks prior, before eligibility review started i sent course enrollment and tuition fees payment to add, next day my eligibility review started. then i sent ielts that i didn’t need to, i was sending them email two times a week monday and thursday. early hours of the morning with title: URGENT ATTENTION . note that it may not work for everyone oooh. but my application was already 3 weeks and i wanted answers in time to resume fall. please don’t let anyone discourage you at all. you can do it. i am looking forward to sharing my gcms notes with you all. documents i submitted Admission letter from University of Ottawa medicals upfront personal and company bank statement since i run my own business vac documents for my business cute family photos of me hubby and baby transcripts and certificates undergraduate first masters degree transcript (australian uni) marriage certificate passport with valid usa and canada visa payment receipts for hospital and accomodation when i visited last year (had baby via emergency) very long sop (6 pages with sub headings and sections for each point i wanted to address) use your discretion i addressed clearly why i want to do a second masters in Canada and also why i have an active express entry profile because of the dual intent rules. i quotes it for them sef i think. i appreciate all those who keep this thread going and whose words of wisdom helps us. God will surely come through for all those waiting. keep the faith alive 10 Likes |

Hello People, GCMS has landed o. (I applied August 28th, and it arrived today) All but eligibility passed. I need expert reviews. I have already started online classes. I won't stop! I am positive about this. No turning back, no backing out now. I am not sad at all. Few things to note: 1. No solid study plan ( I thought I did a good job on that though - I need expert advice on that again) 2. No home ties (I used my siblings, i submitted our pictures together and their International passports and national IDs.) I have an IT company and I submitted all required documents from HR and CAC. No landed property was submitted. 3 LOE was ok but I don't understand this VO ( I guess I need to repackage). 4. All tuition paid. 5. Plan on where to stay was attached; I already had a lease agreement for 1 year 6. Showed enough funds. 7. Single 8. Course of study: Petroleum Engineering ( 9. First degree: Elect / Elect 10. Years of experience 10years (In IT - software development): Reason for petroleum engineering - I have done IT/Software projects with Oil and Gas companies where I mixed my IT and Electrical engineer qualifications throughout. For about 3-5 years in that. I explained this in my LOE and how it relates to my future career path. GCMS Note: (It was about 25 pages...I kind of appreciate the work these people do o. They actually verify a lot of things we ignore. They validated all my trips and even contacted school and all. I give them kudos. Please advise on how to repackage. I want to reapply ASAP after addressing the major issues. Egbons and gurus. I am on stanby for your assistance. I have two questions though: 1. Should I still apply with Petroleum engineering or get Electrical Engineering / Any IT related course ( I have skills in AI, I already have a Udacity Nanodegree in that - not worth going for that....) 2. What else do I need to do about the home ties? @fratermarty, @Anon123, @Osemigho, @frankbone1 ,@Akannimony and others, make una show please.. Thank you. 1 Like

Samoye111: Congratulations on your Admission and Visa application. I applaud your faith and optimism, and I think it will be quite helpful if you sharing your profile and help bring some clarity to a lot of people that will resort to prayer like you did. I want people to pray for visa applications, god knows I prayed for one right about midnight today, but I like to think prayer doesn’t substitute for the hard work you put into making yourself a “perfect” candidate for university admission in record time and visa approval in good time. I’m of the idea that you are a “perfect” candidate for visa application, and will appreciate it if you share your profile. |

Staymotivated40: I sincerely regret to hear your application was delayed. Please can you share me a detailed breakdown of your profile (previous education, current employment, sponsor, intended program in Canada, refusal grounds and list of documents submitted with your application. The above information will enable me advice you properly and pinpoint some of the loopholes in your application. It will end in praise. |

Mildred01: You will pay for third party websites to request for the notes on your behalf. The fee is usually 5CAD if you've someone in Canada, albeit, rather a third party website charges between 12CAD to 15CAD. It will end in praise 1 Like |
