Buhari got admitted to Nigerian Military school with without WAEC result on the strength of a letter from his Emir. JAMB cut off marks are lowered for certain parts of the country to enable them gain admission to University.

The rest of the country is being held back in the vain hope the Northern part of the country will catch. It is a backward, corrosive and archaic policy. It never worked and will never work. It doesn't even help the North because it disincetivizes them to strive like the rest of the country because they believe one Emir or an influential army officer will always bend the rules for them in employment or educational contest. So why bother to apply themselves.

Oga that is not the job of a mechanical engineer , don't confuse it with Automobile engineer... Mechanical Engineering is far beyond that scope... Energy and power ,Materials , Refrigeration and air conditioning ,pumps ,valves ,compressors ,turbines , production/ designs etc are few aspect of mechanical engineering. The word Mechanic and mechanical are completely different.Thank you.
