Why would that "superior Officer" (I am sure he is a Northerner and from the nam eof the Soldier, he is from the South of Nigeria) make himself the ACCUSER and JURY?
Why is the Soldier not given the right of fair hearing in an impartial panel/ orderly room trial or court ?
Why did he punish him PUBLICLY in front of Civilians, in the North?
Why did he allow Civilians and members of the Public to record a Video of the punishment?
Will he do that, if the Soldier was a Northerner like himself?

Obviously, the Superior knows what he was doing.
And these are the Soldiers you would expect to defend their Superiors, in the face of an Ambush?
