AD is talented like I said he has all the gifts but you can't teach heart. I expect the Lakers and AD to bounce back.

However I have watched AD long enough to know mentally he's just not that guy in the clutch. There is still time to prove me wrong though. But look at a limited baller like Montrezl and how hard he went in the 4th and look at AD.

I shyte on LeNomad here Everytime but LeNomad actually has nothing to prove. His legacy is cemented among the second tier of greats behind Jordan. I saw no urgency from AD today and no will to make the team his own.

It might be early days but this is the West every win counts and as injury prone as AD can be load management will kick in. Every W counts

Any team that can crush the Lakers is a friend of mine. So if the Clippers win the title I don't mind

This one's my favorite.

If there is one thing I am absolutely sure about, It's that I am always right! Unfailingly so. I told you, I've seen what it takes to stop LeBron, with the warriors gone, no one has it. I told you all to beware the Impostor king. And what happened? When the pressure got to him, when the weight of expectations were placed on his shoulder, he choked unlike anything I have ever seen in my life. I did enjoy it, but mark me, I was sad. Sad because I wanted them to get far enough for the true King to eviscerate and humiliate him and his gang of overrated goons. Snap him like a twig. And why on earth would anyone go to war with Pandemic P on their side. It was obvious, but hate blinded your souls. And now, you will witness the full wrath of a true King.

He did it not in East, not on a super team, and he did it as the underdog. Remember, before you bring your excuses, I have all the receipts and I will make you look like a fool. cheesy

Rob Parker hates LeBron so much, damn grin Watched him on The Odd Couple today and each time Broussard talked about LeBron in glowing terms his face went sour. Just like the typical LeBron hater on twitter and Nairaland, he believes that AD was more deserving of MVP than LeBron. Birds of a feather cheesy

I don't fancy unnecessary drama.

Lakers vs Heats for the finals A.S.A.P.

Hmmm. I like the aggressiveness of Jokic to start this game. But can he keep it up?
Re: The NBA Begins by DeeMain(m): 2:48am On Sep 23, 2020
Lakers struggling offensively today. 2nd quarter and only Lebron is balling.

Nuggets on fire!
Re: The NBA Begins by etidy: 2:58am On Sep 23, 2020
Barring a collapse by the nuggets, this will be a long series. They found something in game 2 and the lakers escaped with that win.
This could easily have been 1-1 with the nuggets looking to make it 2-1

Problem is, they are keeping the Lakers too close and that is all the Lakers need. The Lakers have enough experience and star power to overturn a single digit lead. They have to make their free throws also. However, like I said after game 2 and you have rightly alluded, The Nuggets found something in game 2, despite losing. The Lakers can not allow them to run and control the pace of this game because it negates the influence of their Bigs (Howard & Javale).

The nuggets players want all the smoke. will they get to the finals? that is still up in the air, but what they will do is to make sure the Lakers earn every win.
They just pushed this series to 5 games
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:48am On Sep 23, 2020
These teams are more evenly matched than people want to admit. Make no mistake about it the Lakers are the better team however like I pointed out in Game 1 the refs gift wrapped them the W. And then Mason Plumlee's dumbass in Game 2. The gulf is not nearly as wide

With that being said I struggle to see the Nuggets win 3 out of the next 4. Their margin for error is almost non existent but maybe they don't need to win 3 out of 4 maybe they just need to win 1 and take it from there.

If the refs don't try to be funny this series can still be a competitive one. Can see the Nuggets win at least one more game.
Re: The NBA Begins by DeeMain(m): 4:49am On Sep 23, 2020
An AD below par performance. He needs to be more consistent. The role players and second unit too. Kuzma has been particularly disappointing all through this round.

A Lakers late rally made the game engaging.

Jeremi Grant and Murray, great game guys. Nuggets are here to ball.
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 4:49am On Sep 23, 2020
We'll look back at that missed open 3 by KCP to tie the game 101-101 and say that was our moment right there. This game had all the makings of a blowout, I'm surprised it was close at the end. The Nuggets out-rebounded the Lakers 44-25. 25 rebounds by the Lakers? That should be our lowest by a mile this season. AD ended the game with 2 rebounds. We made 6 3-pointers. Game one of Houston and Portland all over again.

On to game 4. I'm still very optimistic. Lakers in 5

Jokic and Murray are not going to beat the Lakers on their own, they are going to need a 3rd guy or maybe a 4th guy, a guy like Grant tonight or a guy like MPJ. Someone else on that squad that's going to say we are not going out like punks

The Nuggets really tried after that terrible start. I thought they had lost when the Lakers cut it to 3 in the last 5 mins. Massive mental strength by Murray and especially Grant who just went super Saiyan
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 4:53am On Sep 23, 2020
It's clear that the refs have been on the side of the Nuggets these last 2 games if we wanna talk about refereeing. You can tell by the free throw discrepancies in the last 2 games. Clear shooting fouls turning into sideline inbounds. Body bump on Kuzma's made 3 that didn't result in an and-1. But we good though.
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:56am On Sep 23, 2020
And who caught that pitiful flop by LeNomad. So shameful. 6'9, 260 pounds and man flopped like a fish because he was hit on his beard grin grin

They called a flagrant on Murray for that. This era is disgracefully soft

The underdog? Lmaooooooo. A team with 3 #1 picks underdogs? You lot have no decorum or shame. So AD and Bron are underdogs vs Jokic and Murray, Lillard and McCollum grin grin

The underdog vs a 23 year old Jamal Murray and a 25 y.o lumbering Jokic?

If these Lakers somehow by some miracle bottle this chip. E go too bloody

Lol. I wouldn't have brought up ref issues if someone here didn't bring it up in the first place, talking about we won game one because the refs gift wrapped us the win
Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 7:02am On Sep 23, 2020
Yeah. cheesy. But honestly, if you can maximize your strengths, there's no way you lose in seven. That's the beauty of the NBA, the better team almost always wins. cheesy
