Jsh is a renowned writer and political journalist who hates everything North Korean, his son, jjw, who's supposed to be his successor decides to become a pastor who helps North Koreans that defect to South Korea get a new start. Jsh disowns jjw and never speaks to him, unfortunately jjw dies in an accident.

Before his death jjw met syy a North Korean who escaped to South Korea with her sisters and daughter jis, due to the the suffering they went through her sisters die on the way, by the time they get to south Korea, she is depressed and her daughter stops talking, jjw helps her through counseling, they fall in love, get married and she gets pregnant.

Now that jjw is dead, she has no where to go and no money to survive on so she decides to move in with her father in law aka her worst enemy. He literally does not want to see her but she threatens to expose the fact that his son married a North Korean, he doesn't want his followers to think he is a North Korean sympathizer so he agrees to offer her and her daughter plus unborn baby accommodation.

At first they hate each other but after a while they begin to see eye to eye and understand each other, he realizes she's just a good woman his son loved and her nationality has nothing to do with her, she sees that he's just an old man who lived in a time when the bitterness between North and South Korea was strong, he helps her daughter talk again and they lived happily ever after till he died.

It is revealed that the reason he Hated North Koreans so much was that his mom was actually north Korean but she was killed by her own people in some war.

The end

I'd rate it 7/10

I really liked it, I loved how they went from being enemies to being each other's rock. Great acting all around.
