Thanks for the quick response. Two more questions:
- so I have been using the so called palm oil on the car, is it advisable to switch to synthetic?
- what's the recommended average mileage to change the synthetic oil? I saw 75000 in one of the brands

There should be somewhere on that oil label where they wrote "you'll have to change the oil along with the engine" grin

1. It is more than likely too late to change to the manufacture reccomnadation.. Continue using the palm oil until the engine starts bring out smoke, or better yet sell the car before it gets to that point.....

2. For recommded interval, always read the owners manual. For some cars oil change interval is always every 3k miles if using conventional oil . And every 7k miles to 10k miles if using full synethtic... also put into account that Nigerian factor or Lagos traffic with constant stop and go ,idling, dust etc will put more stress on the engine.. So it might better to change earlier than the recommended interval....

What they told me is that, we will bring driver accreditation confirmation which will be collected at the Lasdri, oshodi. Then come with the paper (picture below) with road worthiness of the vehicle and sum of 11k for the Badge.

Wait is the badge fto Train Captains?

Anyways, for those who wants to know more about it. That's it right there.
You will pay 1k at the Lasdri oshodi for confirmation. Then take the slip to Old secetariat, Code of conduct at Ikeja, show them the slip and pay 11k (Jesus)

I just checked out the list of requirements and the department to get it....That department is in charge of the drivers badge and body Tag....maybe the 11k is for both documents. (Thinking out loud)... Even if they wan inflate am, no b to add additional 7k.

Why 11k. Last last what we would have just done is boycott the process and lets see if uber go block all their drivers. So when the complains start coming in both government and uber go adjust. Worse comes to worse I leave their app for them.

Please I came here to check if drivers are on strike or there is an Exodus to a new e-hailing coy. Because the rate of surge in my area between yesterday and today no be here. Or the pandemic don displace drivers out of Lagos.
The truth is that most drivers now use INDriver. Surge or no surge they don't care. What matters most to them is that money is made. The reasons are Zero Commission, No Annoying Cash discount to riders, Transparency in rating, You choose trips and determine your movement. No more going to bad roads that wears and tears your car at expense of your earnings, incessant and annoying blocking of account without due process. Dashboard will show U made big money, in reality you made small money. 25/20% commission + Discounted cash trips + Card trips + Fuel + Data + Call cards they take away huge chunk of your earnings. The only downside of INDriver is that pricing is not dynamic, it doesn't read in traffic and that is where your I.Q comes into play. Soon they will start charging commission and this an opportunity to accumulate as much as I can. It has always been 10k daily after expenses on INDriver. Hustle on INDriver has been very very profitable for me

Same here. Its just that I needed both the lasdri and hackney during registration. What I believe would happen is that the same way uber didn't trouble old drivers for lasdri and hackney is the same way they won't trouble old drivers for the badge and tag.

Most times, I regret being born a Nigerian. Being born a black man not to talk of a Nigerian is the worst thing that can happen to anybody in the universe.

Forget the Black is beautiful Nonsense. The black man is located in a dark part of the universe that is in close proximity to hell fire.

The average black man is vile, crude, evil, wicked, scheming, mischievous, bastardly useless, fraudulent, pugnacious, hateful, bad, wrong, immoral, sinful, foul, vile, dishonourable, corrupt, iniquitous, depraved, villainous, nefarious, vicious, malicious to his fellow black man and humanity in general.

Added to it, the average black man is malevolent, sinister, demonic, devilish, diabolical, fiendish, dark, monstrous, shocking, despicable, atrocious, heinous, odious, contemptible, horrible, execrable, informal low-down and dirty to his fellow black man.

That is why they will give someone contract of 1 billion for a 2 kilometre road, he will pocket 400 million naira, give back 400 million to the person that brought the contract to share with the state governor, use 50 million to buy up judges, use 50 million to buy up security agencies, use 50 million to buy up the area the road is meant to go through and then use the remaining 50 million to spray ordinary bitumen on clay soil. 2 months later, rain will wash it off! Then the cycle continues when another Governor comes on board.

Oh Black Man, who will rescue you from this endless Shenanigans devil put you into?

I pity those who are still saying Nigeria go better, this country's future is very bleak, visionless and lacks direction. The only option for me is to migrate and is in pipeline.
