Let's say I asked you to work and you don't do a good job, consider yourself done with. It's that simple. You must be fast and still do good job. Those things are negligible but very much affect the prices

My assumption is most professionals/tradespeople juggle multiple jobs at once, meaning if they are taking on a new project it will usually have to fit in and around existing work or a future start date will be set.
So I always give them ample time to deliver a good job.

If they are able to jumpstart immediately or deliver it in a jiffy or move from Kano to Bayelsa within a week, that signifies absence of real work to keep them engaged and this could be down to their lack of skills or something more concerning.

That’s the way I think though.

you can't be as busy as factories in China and they still hit targets. Just because I give my job everything doesn't mean that I am less busy. As I'm not married, I wake up in the morning and the next thing on my mind is how to deliver the next job. Being able to deliver on time will endear me to clients and also ensure that I utilize my profits. Let's say I pick up a job today with a profit of 1,000, if you delay on the job, you will end up making less money cause as the day breaks, so does the value of your profit depreciates.

Another thing is that once someone realizes that you are too busy for them, you are bound to loose customers and believe me, even your loyal customers will one day stop coming no matter how good you are at your work. That is what kills a good brand. It takes more than skill to grow and maintain a brand. Instead of you to sleep and die in a job,hire extra hands,if you think they can't hit your desired quality, train your own capable hands.

As good and big as Julius Berger is, they still use flood lights to work on projects to ensure timely delivery. If they can work while others are sleeping just to deliver, I don't know who I am that I can't ensure that I deliver within the shortest time possible and still do a quality job
