I'd understand if their PDP states are shinning examples.

Nearly all their states are PDP states, but their states are the poorest, the dirtiest and the most polluted in the world.

3 out of the 20 most polluted cities in the world are in the SE.

They and the PDP are synonymous with failure.

Our government are just wasteful. You create plans for a 12 lane road.

You build a four lane road with gutter at the sides. Years later fill up the gutter and expand the road to a eight lane road.


Years later fill up expand, by that time houses too will be destroyed as people have built on the unused side of the road.


This is clearly the case on the ijede road, there is clearly at least a eight lane setback. But our govt has started a four lane road with gutter at the sides. By the time that road is finished it will need to be expanded as it will not be adequate for that congested area.


That is what is happening on demurin road. Demolishing houses, filling up the gutter and expanding the roads.

Is it not possible to get it right the first time and stop all this do overs, that waste our resources time..

Some of us have been spending our whole lives commuting. Spending more than 4 hours on the road daily. The Third mainland bridge is under repair and Sanwo Olu is undertaking multiple road repairs all over Lagos.

Just think of the loss of fuel, time, health and repairs affecting millions of Lagosians daily.

Abuja which has been the federal capital since 1991 cannot boast of Higher GDP, IGR, entertainment, Industries, IT, FinTech, Banking, economy, and etc than Lagos so what’s with you guys and all this mention of FCT everytime.

The FCT is not even all of Lagos to start with, the Western region owned part of Lagos and Awo built that part up with our money.

All those people comparing Lagos with Edo and Abia are very cynical. It's like comparing London with Porthmouth or New York with South-Carolina. They don't match. The former is considered as a 'mega city' with a huge population having lots of activities that generates massive income for government unlike the latter that's still a growing town. Lagos is meant to be comparing herself with other city that has attained 'mega-city' status like Tokyo, New York, Shanghai and Mumbai.
It's pitiful that Lagos is considered the least among her peers in terms of organization and infrastructure. But some folks are here comparing Lagos with Edo and Abia, states whose major city aren't up to 3 million in population. It's very ignoble of you folks
