Normal appointment (not priority)

I received an email with subject “Deferred Complex”
from DMC UK on the 19th September 2020 stating that my application is not straight forward hence they couldn’t meet up with the normal processing time.

I also did not receive any invitation for phone or second interview.

My challenge now is that the latest day I’m expected to enroll or arrive is 5th October, 2020.

Any idea of how long I still have to wait to get a decision regarding my Tier 4 Visa application, as my booking of flight, paying for accommodation and completing my enrollment will all depend on the decision.

Leave (limited) to remain (LTR) is what you get when you switch from one valid visa category to another, you are usually required to be on leave to remain for 3, 5 or 10 years before qualifying for ILR depending on the route you applied through.
Indefinite Leave To Remain (ILR) is what you get after legally spending 3, 5 or 10 years without a break in your leave. ILR is one step closer to getting your British Citizenship and gives you almost the same rights as a British citizen.

Two hours will be too small to come out and go back in. So it might be tight . But if they are there exactly when you arrive then yes it possible but everything will be done quickly quickly as you are checking in Qatar you are doing your hugging and good byes

First airline from Abuja reads Arik air, stop over is 2 hours. I am sorry if I did not explain well.

this wait is exhausting honestly. did my 2nd phone interview over a week and half now and no communication yet, latest time to resume in my school is 2nd october. cant book flight or do anything at all. God abeg o

These are two different airlines with one local flight and international flight. I would expect that arik cannot check you in for a Qatar flight. This passenger has to walk to qatar desk and then check in

There's no predicting these things because anything can happen in the processing centre that will cause delays in bringing out visas.
In my case, the main applicant got first, then dependants a week later.

In another case, dependants' visas were hanging until a paid email was sent and the passports were returned almost immediately thereafter.
All in all, the last outstanding visa has been granted if the rest have been and is probably being delayed due to some oversight at the processing centre.

Or just do the paid email if you hear nothing today.

Okay thank you. Sent them a mail now hoping to hear from them. If I call them today will I still get information why my dependent passport was not returned

You got no idea what you are talking about, why would immigration stamp his passport again when that has been done already?

When you are on stopover you still have to go through the boarding process again. Even those on visa in many cases are allowed to enter the city and return to board their flight.

I did Biometric on 14th in Abuja. No update yet. I think starting from next week there should be updates. How sure are you about the 10 working days average process time as against the usual 15 working days?

It doesn't count as a break if it's shorter than the number of days allowed. I'm talking about a period that is beyond the accepted time period.
