KingAzari: Tribalism. He is a hypocrite and a tribalist. There are certain derogatory words you type and nairaland changes it to refer to people from a particular tribe. He wont allow cryptocurrency and betting but allows prostitution and porn. 1 Like |

If you like monitor them ,it is not the life of Lagosians that were endangered but all humans in Nigeria and beyond. It is high time to constitute inspectors that will inspect factories ,warehouses and stores regularly. . When these products are ingested they lead to heart ,liver and kidney failure |

SLAP44:I concur with you. Even government gave out expired stuff. Governments abroad gave heavy support to businesses affected by covid. The reverse is the case in no naija where it was selective. The without government support, wrong as it may be, the tendency is that businesses will indulge in such dastardly act. Why? Most operate with loans, some with credit from suppliers home and abroad. After 5 months of covid shutdown most consumables will have expired. Most businesses will not be able to bare the loss. Imagine you used your family home as colataral. You could not turnover sales of the goods, repurchase and sell. Instead the stayed in warehouses and expired! Then banks will the come ans seize your assets. A friend told me almost all his drinks in his bar are expired. He has been shutdown for 5 months. He thought he will get covid 19 cbn sme conditional loan but till date nothing. It's either he sells the drinks to customers or pour them in the gutters in which case he will not be able to restock. ( ie business will shut down). NOTE that there is no excuse for selling expired stuff, just letting folks know that their is another side to the story. 1 Like |

Lagos can create agency upon agency. Which one is LASCOPA again? Is this not the job of SON and NAFDAC? The motive of most agencies in Lagos state is not necessarily service delivery but REVENUE GENERATION and EXPLOITATION. |

Better learn to farm and produce curry and spices here in Nigeria and package them. So they don't spend so long in transit as imported goods do. The owner has lost a lot of money. Not his fault. But trying to poison Nigerians with expired food, is a NO-NO. We have imported enough. Time to start doing our own everything. |

SLAP44:the funny thing is that you don't even know who consume those expired products, it may your mother, your wife,or even your child. The same thing happened in Abia, people like come to nairaland to defend business men and women who sale fake products, unfortunately in Abia almost 20 lives were lost because someone was selling fake building materials. You are defending people selling expired products, one the person you love so much will be a victim of such products. Amen |

In Nigeria, the only entity allowed to commit crimes is government. The only organization permitted to break the law is law enforcement agencies. Are you surprised that we are retrogressing rather than progressing as a nation? The pace of retrogression has significantly accelerated in the last 6 years SLAP44: 2 Likes 3 Shares |
