There isn't a Global Version for that memory type.

For the fact that it has gotten MIUI 12 doesn't mean it will never come Redmi Note 5 is billed to receive MIUI 12 we haven't gotten but you don't see us complaining like RN8 users do. I wonder how RN8 people will now do when it is getting to the end of update shell like RN5 and RN4x in the times past.

RN5 is getting it's first update since November and it isn't MIUI 12 yet.
