abegi no one stopped you from leaving they only said if you leave you loose your job so you decided to stay like most Nigerians who care about money rather than their health or lives. why are you now complaining? life is full of choices learn to make the right choice and own up to it.

The general work environment in Nigeria is unhealthy.

I have this guy working in a bank for over 10yrs, though he goes home and comes back to work, he says he is already tired of the job.

He does thesame thing every day, no travel, no sponsored trainings abroad, no vacations, no change of unit or job rotation. Just monotony.

Coming from an insider. DUFIL is not treating us well at all. No incentive in this COVID -19 Era. Where meant to work 7 to 7 both in the morning and night. The only thing we got was our regular Salary package. No matter how much they pay most Nigerian staffs, if they see another consistent paying job, they'll quit the next day.
I can't even wish my enemy to work there more than 2 years. It doesn't get any easier. The job conditions in here is challenging. Those Indians treats people like slaves.

But why is the Nigerian government giving power to Asians to humiliate her citizens. Why should poor Nigerian citizens be used always as collaterals to get anything they want from these animalistic Asians. The problem again is the Nigerian managers in their offices are figureheads, mangers without portfolios are also used to dehumanise the workers for fear of loosing their jobs of stipend. Nigeria is dongeon/dumping ground for every mean countries.

OUR POSITION
Our attention has been drawn to some allegation of Staff Lockdown by Employees of Dufil Prima Foods Plc in some recent press and media articles. Dufil Prima Foods hereby categorically state that these allegations are not only false and malicious but also a deliberate attempt to embarrass and erode the goodwill and support our organisation enjoys with its numerous stakeholders.

I think you're the ones enslaving yourselves, if their terms are not sitting well with you, you leave! That simple, stop looking for pity..

I left a job that was paying 45k last year because we rarely feed well and the Indians wanted to kill us with work while treating their fellow Indians gently... A typical Nigerian will bear it because of the usual mantra of there is not job out there and I think that's where the slavery starts from... But I LEFT!

do you at all know what RIGHTS mean? to start of?

you went too far, I called out rights because they ran to the Government for help and your're asking if they were tied or forced. there should be labour laws enacted by the Government to protect it's citizens from harassment and dehumanizing acts by Coys. That's the point I was heading to. It is part of the rights of a citizen to be protected by laws of the land. Good you know though.
