It is also a GENERAL knowledge Rohr is not TOTALLY in charge of the selection of players into the national team and selection favours players from the places talent where talent only exist in Nigeria as I was made to believe here.

Chief, so which one are you saying, this exclusion is based on tribal influence or agents money inducement, seems you are pushing both.

Lol... Azeez is not a proper DM. Frank is. Ndidi has no proper backup. Rohr could address that with Frank or Mikel Agu.
Tijani will definitely not make the next squad. This is his one chance to be blooded in with these friendlies.

You guys should relax. Forgiveness most especially. Let Rohr do what he has to. Afterall, you all agree that Ndidi has no true backup in the DM role.

And hey... Danny, thanks for the emphasis. grin

Hmmmmm! Ndidi has no proper backup? Seriously?

I am just hearing this for the first time.

Rohr is gradually building a team that can challenge for the afcon trophy as well as surprise world football in next world cup

As it stands now only few players when fit can boast of a starters shirt in Rohr's team. Without mincing words I foresee the likes of etebo, Omeruo, awaziem, Collins and balogun been dropped entirely from the team in a year or two judging by the talents we boast of currently

Imagine a situation where the likes of uduokhai, Akpoguma, torunarigha, ejaria, olise, Ehizibue, saka, adarabioyo etc are all available for selection, the battle for a place in the team will be fierce to be honest

I think with the emergence of onyeka, offorboh and tijani the DM position will be well covered in no distant time

Tijani has not emerged yet... He is in development, still a long way to go.

Ofoborh has been playing CB.

Bro una get forgiveness time abeg. Everybody here knows that Azeez is a bona-fide member of the current super eagles team but Rohr left him out inorder to see what onyeka and tijani can offer the team judging by the case that both hv been immerse for their respective clubs.

Onyeka is being touted as the perfect cover for ndidi while tijani was brought in as a future leader of the next generation which was the same way osimhen was introduced to the team even when he barely had game time at Wolfsburg few yrs ago.

Moreover Azeez's presence in the team is not futuristic if his age is to be considered and i strongly doubt if he will make the next afcon team. Rohr immediate plan is to blood in younger talents to complement the structure he has on ground already

So I will advise mk una free forgiveness abeg cheesy cheesy

Rohr told the media openly he invited the "best" one. Too much SUGARCOATING can't change what he said.

you re right about tijani but for him to be a starter in his current team just few months of leaving the shores of Africa signifies he deserves the commendation he is getting of late.

As for offobor it's normal for DMs to be slotted to the cb position which in other hand enhances the defensive aspect of their game which is their main priority

Last season he played in his natural position for Wycombe and did well that the championship newcomers wanted him back on loan this term but Bournemouth refused. I saw him against city and he looked assured defensively and very comfortable when in possession of the ball. So him been played in both position is a huge plus to his game as a dm

Frank I saw this week is not better than Agu.

What did he do last season? Did he win the best player in Denmark league?

I am very surprised that a player in the Danish league can be considered for the national team after Peter because many were ignored from that league.

What makes him special?

Of course he invited the best based on current form.

Onyeka won the league with midyjlland and was voted his clubs player of the season. Also he hv been impressive so far in this new season both in Europe and the danish league and currently linked with a possible move to the bundesliga

Tijani's case is quite understandable because everyone know the reason why he was invited, not only that he also hv been very good in the Austrian top flight and Europe as well after just leaving Africa 2 months ago.

Azeez is not an out and out DM but cm and in Rohr's current team in that position he is down the pecking order which is clear to everyone

Oga let's watch him play first in the team before concluding that he is not good enough

Besides, Ajilore was called while in the Eredivisie.

However, Rohr made us understand he will not call players from obscure leagues. What makes these different?

The fact that Tijani is based in Austria where the games will take place might be another factor why he was considered..

I dunno why forgiveness isn't looking at the positive side of this squad...

It's not like Azeez has been frozen out of the team already..
