Eduardo Camavinga plays for France and he is in his age group. He might be in the class of Mikel or cammavinga. The fact that red bull brought him and he walked into the first team of Tsv Hartberg shows something. Besides it is a friendly.
Osimhen too was very inexperienced when Rohr gave him his debut. Who are you to judge his level of talent and maturity. He might be a world class player who matures fast.
One thing i have noticed is that Rohr has an eye for talent even at an embryonic stage

Lol... And my post said he played for 90? Some of you should really not be in hurry to comment so fast. I watched just 9mins of the 12mins+ he was on the pitch. Na wa.

Porto is still his parent club so he was left out. Most likely his move to Boavista from Porto included a clause of them not featuring him against them.

Is Awaziem injured? He didn't make the match day squad

Why should I make case for Nwakeame when we have better wingers?

Do you have sense at all?

I am talking about dropping a player who did well in Laliga for players in obscure leagues. Can't you understand?

Mr follow follow.
As old as you are, can't you pass across your comments without insulting people? Saying do you have sense etc, it is really irritating and embarrassing for someone who will be quoting the bible and who is supposed to be an elder, na wa o.

Tijani has not emerged yet... He is in development, still a long way to go.

Ofoborh has been playing CB.

I don't like the fact that Oforboh is being played at the back. He'd make a fine MF If allowed to develop there.

Make of this what you will. Based on the bolded below, I will say kudos to Mr Rohr! He definitely means well and thinking of the future he may not be a part of. Very good incentive for Tijani and his mates to continue to work hard.

I didn’t expect Super Eagles call-up ― Samson Tijani

Red Bull Salzburg loanee Samson Tijani has confessed that his maiden invitation to the Super Eagles for their upcoming friendlies against Ivory Coast and Tunisia came as a surprise, and has claimed that he did not have any contact with manager Gernot Rohr and his assistants in the days leading up to the squad announcement.

However, the former Golden Eaglets skipper has revealed that the Franco-German football tactician assured him and other Nigeria U17 stars last year that there was a pathway into the Super Eagles if they kept doing well.

Tijani has jumped two age groups – Flying Eagles and Olympic Eagles – following his first call-up to the Super Eagles and after only four matches as a professional and 322 minutes under his belt. “I feel good about being invited but I didn’t expect the call-up because I just moved to Europe,” Tijani said. “It was amazing when I came to Europe, I didn’t even play in the academy, went directly to the first team. “When I was sent on loan, I went straight to the starting lineup, I have played all the games.

The fact that Tijani is based in Austria where the games will take place might be another factor why he was considered..

I dunno why forgiveness isn't looking at the positive side of this squad...

It's not like Azeez has been frozen out of the team already..

Definitely a factor. It seems to me this is Rohr saying " Hey, we're in your neighborhood, come hangout with us. By the way, remember what I said to you last year? I still have my eyes on you"

The Guys arguing should also take into consideration that some of these guys have not being playing...since some of the leagues just resumed...azeez has played only 10mins against athletic bilbao.....i stand to be corrected tho...most people on the reserve list are either match rusty or just plain unlucky...either way let's calm down on the conspiracy theories of tribalism..

But this sparta coach no dey try at all. cheesy. You buy goalkeeper put am for bench. At least him dey play for Dusseldorf II. First choice goal keeper don chop 4 today. Make we see whether dem go play am for cup matches. Ah. cheesy. Nigeria don suffer for goalkeeper matter. No be smal thing. cheesy
Lol na true bro, Nigeria has always had this goalkeeping issues for over 15 years now, Enyeama just masked it, remember those days it wasn’t him between the sticks how shaky it used to be, but why won’t we have such issues when the grassroot is faulty, In Nigeria na the most otu player wey wan play by force dey do keeper in grassroot football, that’s how Uzoho became a goalkeeper sef, when I visit some academies here in Lagos, the goalkeepers are the most ignored when it comes to technical training.

Dude is quality, he has the built of Nigerian players of the 80s, 90s and early 2000s, then, the technical ability of modern day full backs. I can't wait to see him against Mahrez next month when we play Algeria. Imagine the body development (growth) here, barely 3years ago, he was that scrawny (@second frame)

I think he will make a finer CB, he is not really keen on playing the ball but his positional awareness and aerial ability are excellent

Even Emyeama was not all that different from UZoho them when he started out with super eagles. He started getting it right late in his career

Yea the Ramon Azeez issue pain me too sha. Bros got an assist in our last match he deserved a spot. I just hope like u said he is part of Rohr's plans because this would be one for the detractors to sit their hat on

Exactly he was impressive in the last match he came on for iwobi and got an assist he knows how to calm the midfield he prevent unnecessary pressures from opposition he knows how to keep his shit calm and simple..azzez not making the team has cause controversy both here and all other social media considering the fact the our only VISIBLE CMF we have is injured azzez should have been slot in to replace aribo.

Which enyeama are we talking of? Same one who kept a clean sheet in his world cup debut match?

Same enyeama who was very instrumental in winning the caf CL for Enyimba and Nigeria at his early years showed more potential and marked himself for greater height from the onset of his career

I feel bad for him sha. His national team career has not been smooth sailing. Remember Mikel keeping him on the bench in the world cup and not getting a call back until Rohr.

The facilities are not too expensive but it is the coaching that is most important. U can train anywhere when u have the right coach. Izzy and Kamaru could right now come to naija and train easy.
