BascoVanVeli: We have given him strong mention here before and he is a regular feature in my Naija Players match schedule. He is Calvin Bassey Ughelumba. Former youth teamer with Leicester. A big strong young left footed LB. Eligible for Nigeria. 5 Likes 2 Shares

Napoli ex-coach seeks starting role for Osimhen 3 days ago Olalekan Okusan with agency report ERSTWHILE coach of Napoli , Gianni Di Marzio, believes a player with the status of Nigeria international Victor Osimhen should automatically be in the starting line-up of any team based on his talents. The 21-year-old made a stirring debut last Saturday coming on a second half substitute to help his side to an eventual 2-0 win over Parma. In an interview with Radio Marte in Italy, Marzio noted that Osimhen has the quality to wreck any team in the Serie A. “Osimhen is an excellent player who has certain characteristics. He is not only a counter attacker, he knows how to play the ball. , he opens up the spaces for you, he is good at pressing, he knows how to do one-two with his teammates and he is not selfish in always wanting to shoot,” he said. Speaking ahead of this weekend’s tie against Genoa, Marzio said: “Against Genoa Osimhen has to play from the beginning. “ I was surprised that in Parma, he started from the bench. For me, the Nigerian must always play. On Sunday Napoli will attack the I Rossoblù, paying attention to the counterattack, but in my opinion there is no parity, the blues will win.” Meanwhile, Osimhen’s agent, William D’Avila, believes his player still has a lot to offer in the Serie A. “Osimhen has a good start, he showed what he can do or give, there is a good connection with his teammates,” D’Avila told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli. “The question of the form is not important, whether it is 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 is not important, he adapts to the game system because he wants to play and score the most goals.” https://www.google.com/amp/s/thenationonlineng.net/napoli-ex-coach-seeks-starting-role-for-osimhen/amp/ |

charlesemeka85: If you are talking about Oforboh l have my doubts in the HERE and NOW he is not Outstanding. Frank Onyeka l don't know much about, one thing l do know if you are outstanding in a lower league better teams from higher leagues come for you. This is his 4th consecutive season and he is still in the Danish league with Midtjylland fc, that is a league that's more or less on par with the English league one. He is getting paid a pittance, so he should be hungry if not for football success then £££€€€. Why is he still therein thus backwater league ❓ Because he is too good ❓ Samson Tijani has signed with Austrian side Red Bull, how many games has he played to justify a call up to the SE ❓. Selection to the Senior national team should be by merit. Not by speculative projection. My suspicion which is not without substance and l have said this before. When you play for the youth national team in Nigeria particularly the U17. This becomes a big opportunity for European football. As a consequence you will have sponsors or Godfathers within the NFF. Which is the DNA of most activities in Nigeria, it's simply corruption. This means you will be given undue favour to boost your career. Because a huge benefit is coming the way of your sponsors. Below a excerpt from a report on the matter of Tijani, we can see obvious CONFLICT OF INTEREST. Make up your own mind. As previously reported by this website, a top NFF official based in Lagos, Dotun Coker, who is the Chairman Technical Committee Lagos State Football Association, Siji Lagunju of the NFF Technical Department and Chief Joseph Uzoma Ebowusim will receive monetary payments for the transfer of the defensive midfielder. |

forgiveness:Remember you are not Jésus and you don't know all or are able to unequivocally conclude that someone is not using his or her sense. Osita Osadebe sang that great song Osondi Owendi, also Dayo Kujore sang his popular yoruba song, Iwo ni kan ko lo gbon, Iwo ni kan ko le mo ye, to ba gbon to le ni kan ogbon, Iwo ni Baba Obo. Meaning nobody has monopoly of wisdom, if you think you do, then you are the father of th e monkeys. I am in no way calling you a monkey sir, just using the song to illustrate that opinions and perceptions defer and we should respect that. Jah bless. 1 Like 1 Share |

At this rate, any Foreign born that NFF approach should consider himself himself lucky. He should grab the opportunity with both hands and continue to work hard to improve himself. Philip Billings was doing shakara before, he would have been our second choice DM now but guy dey form for us. Now we have Onyeka, Agu, Ofobor et al in contention for a spot and maybe 2 or 3 players might join them soon. 2 Likes |
