Since yesterday i have been pleading on how to book a less expensive flight but no positive response.
Please can you ask your friend to help us with more details on 170k ticket?

Lol.
Check Turkish Airlines and Egypt Air, they are the ones that could give a fare in the price range you mentioned.
Also check BA for flights at least 10 days away from today, they become cheaper the farther ahead you book and if you can buy as a group it comes a little cheaper as well.

Thanks for your response. That means it is allowed.

It easy for 23kg allowance to fill up quickly..... if you have other more important things to carry then that better than yam plantain.... both items can be easily bought in UK depending on what city and yam can be weighty. For me there no need carrying such

Thanks sis
mimilyrics:
Yes, you can but in my opinion, you shouldn't because plantains get spoilt quickly and might get mashed in your bag while yams are pretty heavy. Plantains cost about £1 - £1.20 for 3 pieces while yams cost anything from £2-5 from African stores and street markets so you can always buy after you arrive. It's waste of already limited luggage space and it'snot like that's the only food you'll eat everyday.

Good day mimilyrics. Can i send you a mail please?

Nawaooo hahahahah

Na all these kind things dey cause problem for us.

What explanation would a student give to ship in all their belongings to a new country? This undermines the reasons for your travel na.

Biko go over there and start afresh. Better send your belongings to your village or sell them mbok.

I've a freight company I use that has charged me 2,500 naira per kg to London. Extra fee incurred for movement beyond there to other cities. I've not had the time to shop around for other quotes, and in any case I've been dealing with this company for a few years now, so I'll use them.
I'm using it for food items only; don't have the energy to be carrying half of Nigeria's agricultural products into an airplane.

So that's about 5 pounds or 4.50 per kg depending on the exchange rate you want to play with.

Use that as a rough guide to calculate which will be cheaper for you in line with your airline's extra baggage rates.
In my case, the BA extra baggage allowance comes in slightly cheaper since I'm going beyond London.

How about Colchester Essex? How do I get there from Heathrow airport?
justwise:

Try national express, they have a station at Heathrow Terminal 5 especially if you are carrying loads and they alway have stops close to universities in many cities in the UK. They are cheaper than train.

Like the TheGuyFromHR stated.

It will be better if it's foodstuffs you are shipping then carry your clothes then with you if you so wish...

I believe this first semester is mostly online classes plus the weather is cold from now till some months next year, which requires thick clothes.

Anyway, all the best, more grace...

Typically yellow card is for some african countries... however when covid first started around March 2020 ending Nigeria was asking for yellow card for travel for anywhere due to covid and even those going from UK to naija were asked for yellow fever

I was like smh. Wetin concern yellow fever and covid but once covid testing came that was stopped so check if wakanow still has the old information or if that information needs updating. Currently, UK travel doesn't need yellow fever

From Heathrow by bus will be 2 hours so the easiest way is to use National Express bus... check their website. Depending on your airline terminal, there is national Express in terminal 5 for BA and in central bus station ( T2/3)

Hi everyone!
Please I would like to know if I am supposed to do something about the refund of my IHS fee that was initially deducted but reference number wasn’t given.

I had to abandon the application and start another one afresh.

Five days later I got the reference number for the failed transaction.

That means I paid IHS twice.
How do I process the refund?
