Just a few days ago, Buhari was at the NASS to present the budget for 2019. Majority of us don't understand alot about it nor have an incline as to how it plays out, these pictures will do justice to that. Credit: @mona_moxie (twitter) 1 Like 1 Share

Nigeria is in TROUBLE! Living on false hopes and unrealistic pamutations. If you can't get out of here, be ready to work multiple jobs! We shall OVERCOME! 2 Likes 1 Share

the future looks gloomy for Nigeria with a dullard like Buhari, Nigeria needs a leader that can stimulate investors confidence and not one like Buhari that stiffles it |

This is the most brilliant post this year on Nairaland. Very commendable executive summary and assessment. Simple, objective, informative, concise and clear. Sincerely wondering why the FG maintained a very optimistic position on key inputs - price of crude, volume of crude, inflation rate, GDP growth, etc. They could have simply carried out a Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT =(Optimistic + (4*Most Likely) + Pessimistic)/6) to affirm the assumptions. At least we all will note that a technique and basis was considered for the decisions. By this budget analysis, borrowing is inevitable, commitment to Capital Expenditure may be bleak. This really isn’t good. When will Nigeria also commence efforts toward renewable energy in consideration of good environmental practices by reducing carbon footprint, reducing Ozone layer depletion and global warming. At this nonchalant rate, the world may carve a separate continent for Nigeria in 10 years; somewhat, we are the only Country who contributes nothing nor makes efforts to adopt global standards at solving environmental and socio-economic issues. Merry Christmas! 2 Likes |

Damn !!! see budget!! I dont understand how some people still support this government despite the waves upon waves of facts and evidence that prove they are everything they say they are not and worse. The way some paid people or ignorant people defend them here is the tenth wonder of the world. and a nauseating height of idiocy. The bitter truth is that Nigerians as a people are our own worst enemy and deserve to continue suffering untill pushed to the wall, for now, that wall is still far. for now let them continue atikulooting. |
