Can someone please give an estimate of the amount one should go with, particularly considering the fact that things are kinda strange this year and one can’t use estimate of those that travelled last year. @Icasng and many more that can contribute please. Those in Ireland too can help provide suggestions too. Thanks |

I received a refusal letter last week from the embassy. the reasons for refusal are (1) insufficient fund when I showed 3516000 naira in my account after paying full one year tuition fees(2) Need to undertake the course in this state not demonstrated or warranted( i don't understand this). please how do I solve this.. |

How many years program did you applied? If it's over a year I think you need more than that. and did you have a sponsor that can conveniently sponsor you for subsequent years. quote author=Nelse post=94360353]I received a refusal letter last week from the embassy. the reasons for refusal are (1) insufficient fund when I showed 3516000 naira in my account after paying full one year tuition fees(2) Need to undertake the course in this state not demonstrated or warranted( i don't understand this). please how do I solve this..[/quote] |

The second reason clearly states that you are yet to convince the visa officer why you need to go for the course, what the course would do for you and the benefits of the course to your carrier when you return to Nigeria after studying in Ireland. You also need to explain why you want to study in Ireland, you need to convince the visa officer that you are a genuine student. As regards the first reason, you didn't explain if you are using a sponsor and the amount your sponsors had in his/her account, do you or your sponsor have a dependant? Pls clarify this. Nelse: |

Good evening everyone. I am Kingsley. A friend of mine recommended that I sign up here to get ideas on how to solve an issue bordering on some irregularities in my name as appeared on my birth certificate. At birth, my birth certificate bears CHINEDUM UKACHUKWU ABBAH. But my WAEC certificate bears a different name though similar as my name since then has been CHINEDU KINGSLEY ABAH which appears on all my certificates. The KINGSLEY is my English name so I am no longer using UKACHUKWU as its my tribal name. The issue here is that my brother that wants to sponsor me is bearing KENNEDY EMEKA ABBAH. Wouldn't this difference in surname cause issues for me? Please what can I do to solve this issue before submitting my application? |

Olovictor: Anything not issued by the embassy is fake! Even if you do the application through an agent, the embassy will interact with you personally and send you your Visa and passport. If an agent is picking it on your behalf, please verify well! 1 Like |
