ThierryJay:

grin grin grin I see you've stopped quacking. Your cries reminded me so much of a lady that tried to ingratiate herself to marry an African Royal Prince in a popular classic movie. I know you like Laycon, as you fit perfectly into the conversation that the Prince was having with the Lady in the movie, as shown below:

Prince: Quack like a Duck
You: Kwa Kwa Kwa Kwa Kwa

Prince: Like a rich Chinese Duck
You: Yen Yen Yen Yen

I can imagine King Laycon finally telling you to run along, then you'd go, Kpa, Kpa Kpa in your next post. grin grin grin

You better pray Africa Magic don't reveal the voting results from week two so you can see how the King you're obsessed over has been dusting your Kiddrica, Ozo and Co with correct social distancing. You're so pained that you've even lost your ability to reason rationally, because if you did, how could you explain Laycon beating Ozo and Kidd with ignominious margins in separate eviction instances, and then say he wouldn't have won if he was up against these same people in the final?

I am not stopping you from hyping your fave in peace as I actually wish Erica well. But don't bring your coquettish kwa kwa kwa and the meow meow yarns near King Laycon, cos he can't hear ducks whether they be Chinese or Nigerian.

Shock me please, say something intelligent.

kwa kwa kwa kwa kwa
I wont say something intelligent because I don't want to shock you to death.I want you to remain alive and see Erica do better than you expect because that alone could make you eat your own feaces...that's if you haven't started.grin

Did you read and comprehend my post at all or you just want my attention?
I never said that laycon wouldn't have won if he had ozo, kidd or Erica in the finals.I said he had that high number of votes (60%) because the aforementioned were not in the finals!

Last night was bliss.

I was joyous, elated, ecstatic, euphoric & deliriously happy.

My emotions eclipsed those I felt when the U-23 Dream Team won the '96 Olympic Football Gold.

Laycon's support and fanbase transcended gender, ethnicities, religions and regions.

I live in Abakaliki, South East Nigeria and I saw football viewing centers advertise the BBN Grand Finale like it was a UCL final.

Lots of people went to these viewing centres to watch the finale and most of them rooted for Laycon.

I watched it at home but when Laycon was announced as the winner, my wife and I screamed, hugged each other and hopped around for minutes.

Afterwards, I put my daughter on my shoulder and gave her a ride round the house. grin

It was the same reaction from my neighbours above and below as they even screamed louder than my wife and I.

I heard screams and shouts of Joys from houses further down my street and those at the viewing centers some distance away.

As in, I have never been so happy. My eyes were watery and a tear rolled down my face.

My wife was on her knees and soliloquizing.

"Father, thank you Lord"

"God, you bestowed favour on Laycon"

"You made a way where there seems to be no way"

"You gave him victory against all odds"

"When you say YES, no man can say NO"

"Your ways are not the ways of man"

Etc Etc Etc.

By the time she finished, the tears were streaming down her face.

I knelt down in front of her and hugged her quietly.

I knew she supported Laycon but I didn't know she was so emotionally invested cos unlike me she did not follow the Nairaland BBN thread or keep up with the show on social media.

Laycon was loved by Nigerians from North to South, East to West, non Nigerians and people from all works of life.

...... And this love and support was organic.

Laycon's victory is proof that all dreams are valid.

It is proof that you can climb the highest mountain and surmount the biggest obstacle.

I'm getting emotional and if I continue typing I might breakdown in tears so I'll SMS and drop the mic.

@ICONS, you guys rock and I love you all.

I don't care what happens after 5 or 10 years, but as far as this season is concerned, Laycon has no competitor. Periodt!

This is what people fail to understand.

Learn to stay in the now. Stop stressing about people’s future. REST.

He won a show where 19 others came to compete. As far as BBN5 is concerned, he is the biggest.

Goodluck to both contestants and viewers as regards the future. You can’t totally control it. You can only try to do your best and that is why I say GOODLUCK.

Yours sincerely

dont be too sentimental... He got 50pecrnt with dora and ozo ...d worst dat will apun is for dem to share d remaining 40pcent . Getting dat 60pcent is no issue at all e cn get it.... Dats how u all say if e stands wit dora and ozo he won't make d 40pcent... Go n organize ur own bbn nd put dem together.
And you, don't be blinded by sentiments.
He got 60% because he was up against Dora and nengi. It would have been different if he was up against Erica, kidd, ozo,Dora in the finals but he's won the show, let's move on and hype our faves!

So is it Sambo or Atiku that is more effective than Osinbanjo?

You can list the things Namadi sambo and atiku did that made you feel Osinbanjo is an ineffective VP.
I don't want to derail....go to politics section and ask them.
