we discovered payments to some federal colleges (secondary schools) for school feeding in the sum of N2.67b during the lockdown when the children were not in school, and some of the money ended up in personal accounts.

But when do federal government start feeding boarding school children in this country.

I don't think so. I think any governor who has ruled Lagos State is super fit for presidency.

Tinubu can perform better than buhari by far.

Why I personally think he won't get the ticket is because not his religion.

Buhari has an agenda to distablilize this country.

The truth is any one who has ruled in Lagos is super fit for president and they will perform.

Tinubu is a great guy not like he is corruption free but he is better, well educated and exposed that buhari.

Tinubu won't get the ticket because of religion. There is a big war coming in 2023 for that sit. Muslims won't get it and northerners won't get it.

Buhari agenda is to distablilize this country.

lol. Buhari is even much better than tinubu. Tinubu didn't have much achievement to point to during his tenure as governor compared to fashola and ambode. Both had to fall out with tinubu and his cronies for them to record such number of achievements. Tinubu is super corrupt.

What is the difference. Every child was home 'locked down'. Seems the ICPC top dog has been terrorised by the powers that be. If not he doesn't need to clarify anything. Shows these folks are not as independent or as free as their counterparts in other climes. Still tied to the whims and caprices of their masters.

Chairman of The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Bolaji Owasanoye had on Monday, said the Commission discovered N2.67 billion of funds meant for feeding in some schools, stashed away in some private bank accounts.

Asked to react to the statements, The Education Minister, Office of the Vice-President , & Humanitarian Affairs Minister had distanced their Ministries/Office from the allegations.

However, the ICPC has offered clarifications;

Why are we like this?

It's been properly explained to us that it was a different program.

Why do you choose to remain oblivious of something so verifiable and clear?_

Come on, we are not getting anywhere with this.
The different program still doesn't make any sense. Which of the colleges of education in Nigeria has boarding students fed by the government during the lockdown? The government doesn't even feed them before lockdown, is it during the lockdown that they are home with their parents that the billions were spent on feeding them on college campuses?

No, it's the lack of proper comprehension from ignorant persons that warrants clarification.

We need to be more responsible critics and better at opposing government shortcomings rather than being petty about it.

So what exactly was said earlier?

what DAMAGE CONTROL?
Part of his original speech is below. so he was referring to Federal colleges. na just NIGERIANS that like to spin things out of control:

According to Owasanoye: “We observed transfers to sub-TSA were to prevent disbursement from being monitored. Nevertheless, we discovered payments to some federal colleges for school feeding in the sum of N2.67 billion during lockdown when the children are not in school, and some of the money ended up in personal accounts. We have commenced investigations into these finding.”

Mr Owasanoye had been warned to reverse his earlier statement or loose his job/position. Whether he changes the truth or not the billions are stolen. They are just stealing money because the poor cannot fight, but all the deities in the Land will expose their unclothedness. Another woman will soon be appointed minister of government shopper with purpose to enrich her. The few northerners are not thinking good for this country while the few south are into fierce armed robbery stealing by playing their Stooges.

I didn't tell u that he is corrupt or isn't corrupt. This is what I asked which u haven't answered:

"What has ruling Lagos got to do with ruling Nigeria? What and what did Tinubu do as Lagos State governor that confers on him d competence to rule Nigeria?"

How do Lagos leaders think that u like that now automatically qualifies them to rule Nigeria? When u say "foundation", what do u mean? Was Lagos created in 1999 that Tinubu is laying foundation? Was he elected to come& lay foundation? What are d tangibles laid in d foundation?

The earlier disclosure is unruffling feathers so a damage control is on the way.

Typical way of thinking in Nigeria. A statement was made and the media deliberately decided to misrepresent the facts of the case. A clarification was made to correct the misrepresentation but still, people like you will still disagree. You prefer the lies that suits your narrative to the actual truth. You are not different from the people you seek to cast aspersion on.
