A new gallup poll has asked people's views on migrants living in their country, becoming their neighbours and marrying into their families.

The country most welcoming of migrants is Canada, scoring 8.46 out of a maximum possible score of 9.

The countries least accepting of migrants were North Macedonia, Hungary, Serbia and Croatia.

The sharpest downturns in public opinion came in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia.

The world is becoming less tolerant of migrants, according to a poll as Europe prepared to unveil a new asylum plan in the wake of a blaze at an overcrowded camp in Greece that left thousands without shelter.

Seven European countries, led by North Macedonia, Hungary, Serbia and Croatia, topped the Gallup index of the world's least-accepting countries.

But the sharpest changes in attitudes were in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, which have seen an influx of Venezuelans fleeing turmoil at home.

Wether Migrants or immigrants... Kindly remove Naija/Nigerians from the picture up in your head... Most countries are turning us down and very few persons would want to move down to Nigeria... It has lost his value.

I'd presume that this travel refusals are not solely against Nigerians, but nationale who fails to meet the laid out procedures.

And don't get swayed by this your thought.

Know that a lot of Nigerians with qualified requirement are leaving the country in high numbers week-on-week.
