You are saying that it was wrong to be gay and it was shown that Atticus was not happy that his father is gay. You are also saying that his dad was afraid to be caught being gay.

What you forget is that it was also wrong to be black at that time. Being black was a problem and being gay was a problem. You cannot use the hatred of gays in the 60s to justify your hatred of gays. It would also give justification to the hatred of blacks.

I came for Jason Sudeikis and ended up loving just about every character. I can't even pick a favorite character.
I hope Ted Lasso runs for a good number of seasons while maintaining this top notch quality. Cos I haven't had enough of the going-ons at Richmond FC.
