These are some of the issues we are talking about here. We know you stated that it is negotiable, but we are also sure you have that minimum price below which you will NOT agree to sell the tv.

That minimum price could be 10k, 12k or even 20k. Why not state that price instead and indicate that the price is firm and non-negotiable.

We are all adults here. No one will force you to sell below that your minimum price. If someone mentions you here or even whatsapps you, stating a lesser price, you are very free to ignore the person.

That is the technique i use here, and it has ALWAYS worked for me.

You initially stated 30k. The young man proposed 15k, and you requested for him to put "something" on top. While this "something" is relative, we are envisaging it will be in the neighbourhood of 1 - 3k. Correct me if i am wrong though.

Based on the foregoing, the actual price you are looking to sell the tv is 16 - 18k.

Please do well to edit your original advert, stating this price or something within that range so that you can sell your stuff fast and also spare yourself of needless bashing from chill-less crusaders here... grin
