How the presidential candidates greeted their spouses after the debate

Clearly shows who of the two had a good time at the debate --- nothing affectionate about Donald and Melania --- just 'fake' smiles

Trump was on the defense all night long. He showed no respect for Joe Biden, Chris Wallace or the American voters. He could abide to the rules of the debate accepted by his team

He harangued, interrupted and lied. He displayed manners we would not accept in children. He couldn't even say the simple sentence "I denounce white supremacy"

'Sleepy Joe' turned out to be 'Sharp Joe' held his ground effectively and abide by the rules
I disagree, Trump spent the entire debate attacking nonstop, biden was barely hanging in there and needed to be helped by wallace to even survive the night. Joe Biden was the one using curse words on the debate stage, he called Trump a clown, a racist, said Trump was yapping, told Trump to shut up e.t.c Biden was obviously flustered, Trump came equipped to fight and he did so all night against a biased moderator and a Biden who came armed with lies and he beat them to their game.

Where did you get your poll results from?? Lmaooo

Telemundo, a spanish speaking tv channel --- that will have no huge bearing on the presidential elections --- a twitter poll

Yesterday cemented the notion that the douchebag bought his way through school. Little Donald`s vocabulary`s were very crude and unpresidential.

Like someone said, The American people lost the debate. That debate exposed the stupidity of our president to the world.

And that was a record and likely as a result of swinged voters.
It would be interesting to know what Trump's campaign received as donation grin

Record indeed. Trump's serial lying and bullying tactics piss off a lot of Americans especially the ones still on the fence. Nov 3rd loading.

It's true what Mark Twain or whoever said: Never argue (read: debate) with an idiot, they will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience. I'm seeing people say there were two Idiots on the stage (I only saw one), so I guess it worked?

I honestly don't even know how you blame Chris Wallace for this. People say he was worked in Trump's favor, but did he? It must be hard work when three people are in a room, and two people are held to standards of decorum while the third one can do whatever, and we're like: 'oh, we know how he is, but you, why would you tell a sitting president to shut up? I can't stand by that, that's disrespectful.' Well, when you lower the office of the president like this, anything goes, right?

The thing Trump was clearly trying to do was trigger a fit of stuttering from Biden. That's the only reason he kept inserting words, interjecting, trying to distract Biden, and trying to interrupt his flow of thoughts. Literally impossible to debate with that kind of person without a mute function. (Which, dear Lord, please enact one by the next debate so the rest of us don't suffer).

The fact that Trump had the effrontery to bring up Swine flu with COVID on his hands, shows there's no depth to which he wouldn't go. We're almost in October 2020, and he's still saying that: we're not sure how effective masks are. Still bragging about 40,000 people showing up maskless and within close proximity at his rallies. 'No one wants to come out and see you, Joe.' And I won't even talk about how he brought up Hunter's drug problem and dishonorable discharge at the same time as praising his own handling of the military and vets, at the same time as cutting off Biden when he was talking about his deceased decorated son, when he should know the mental toll it takes being a veteran and how many of them may end up struggling with PTSD, drug use, etc. I rotated at the VA as a student in ambulatory care, and almost every one I saw had either Diabetes or hypertension PLUS PTSD. Hunter may not be a saint, but let's see who is a saint out here. And oh by the way, he is NOT running for president.

Biden got steamrolled because he could barely get a word in, and when he did try to talk over Trump, it was painful for the rest of us. How can we be watching a presidential debate and Trump blurts out: 'You're not smart. You graduated last or very near last in you class at Delaware.' Like huh? Are we all in the same place? Biden missed a couple of opportunities to respond to Trump, especially regarding the hundreds of judges seats left open for Trump to fill. Um, Obama nominated candidates to fill those seats, just as he did to fill Scalia's seat in the Supreme Court, and the republicans blocked it until Trump got elected. Which I won't complain about because they had the senate. You have the power, you do what you can to push forward your agenda. Fair is fair. But you can't point to that as a failure of the previous administration. That's just weird.

Anyway, one thing I was glad I didn't hear was the oft repeated lie about full-term abortions. Like, Democrats want to approve full-term abortions where they rip babies out of the womb at birth and basically kill them. The fact that people believe that and hold on to that as the reason they can't support someone like Biden tells you the power of a lie. Full term abortion. Good grief.

I think there will be violence at the polls. I've thought so for some time, but now I'm sure there'll be. Not everywhere, but in some places. I also think there will be tampering with mail votes. Everyone just be careful over the next few weeks.

Biden has condemned the looting and violence. I don’t see how it’s reasonable to expect a non-office holder to be calling elected mayors to advise them on how to handle the violence.

The same way he said he doesn't support the green new deal but immediately started defending it when Trump started criticizing it. Biden is a confused man.

He didn't encourage them to do anything it was a mix up. When he was asked if he will condemn them he said sure he will but the biased moderator with the help of Biden told him to call on them to stand down that's when he said stand down and stand by. The right word he should have used was stand aside. Why is the liberal media not reporting that he accepted to condemn them just a few minutes before he said that? They can go to hell with their fake outrage. Where is the outrage for Joe Biden who refused to condemn antifa violence? They are hypocrites.

American citizens on this forum are all voting for Biden but the ones in Nigeria who have no votes in America can mail in their votes from Nigeria or better, they can fly to US and votes for a Nazi loving President. Biden came with so many lies and the moderator wanted to allow him get away with it and not give Trump the chance to respond, that's why Trump had to interfer and counter the lies himself.
