Oga, every football club owner cares about profit. You guys better come together, and buy the club, then keep buying 200m players worth every year, and see if you won’t go bankrupt. You think it’s just about revenues, what about salaries and wages, and transfers?

All these dividend yarns, since 2005, these guys never commot total of 100m in dividends. You know how much equity they contributed to buy the club?

Bros, stop behaving like those unlearned YouTube analysts that yarn opata.

Leemao.. you never liked OGS from the beginning, so I don’t expect any less from you. Bye.

When Tiago was mentioned here, you guys called him an injury prone player knocking off the idea almost immediately but now you guys claim Liverpool (our rivals) have strengthened or is it Jota? Or that Greek left back? Will you guys accept any of those players here?

Who has City bought? Ake, Diaz and Ferran Torres...If someone here suggested Torres, won't you people be asking if he will MASSIVELY improve our team? Or is it Ake that you lots won't say was relegated with Bournemouth thus isn't good enough or Diaz from the Portuguese league?

Arsenal have signed Willian whom I am certain won't be accepted here or it is Sali a and Gabriel you people won't knock down for Tuanzebe and Mengi?

Who has Spurs gotten? Bale and Reguillon, the same Bale that you guys started cursing Ed when we were linked to him or Reguillon people started tabbing here because he was dribbled once?

Who has Leicester Signed that you guys think will fit in our team or MASSIVELY improve us as you guys will say?

I am sure if Liverpool or Manchester City were the ones who signed Van De Beek, you guys would have called him an improvement too but because we got him, he isn't.

Now, I hear we're close to signing up Dembele and already fans are against the signing sighting his injury record but if Pep and City swoop for him, you people will start shouting that our rivals are strengthening.

If Pogba, Martial, De Gea and the likes were in other clubs and moved to our rivals in the league this summer, I am sure you guys would've been criticizing Ed here for not getting them. Every toy out there looks so good you want to throw away the one you already have.ut you fail to realize that some ody washes those toys you see out there so they keep shining...

Before you come here to say our rivals are strengthening, do well to point out the players they have signed so we can take a critical look at them.

We have quality players in our team but we have not gotten the right manager to work with them. If you are doubting the impact of a manager on a player, check Mane for instance, until he met Klopp his game was still raw but now, look at Mane, he has fine tuned his game and is now a player to reckon with.

NB: I once supported Ole but when I saw that the job was bigger than him, I had no option but to backtrack.

Pfft.

Liverpool and City are strengthening their squad depth.

Btw, incase you don’t know, Thiago is injured. Again.

Spurs claim to be a big team but they really are small, and it’s no surprise they went in for an injury-prone Bale & buy-back clause Reguilon when their coach is Mou.

Yeah, Mane scored the fastest hat trick in the Premier League while playing for Juergen Klopp lmao

You made many good points but that Dembele issue is a no go area.

Any club whose main transfer window acquisition is Dembele is on a long thing.

In the slower paced and less explosive Spanish Liga this guy has had repeated hamstring injury after hamstring injury missing an average of 26 games per season over the last 3 seasons.

Also I am a big Klopp fan but Mane was always going to improve with time no matter the manager.

The system put in place to help him succeed was created by Klopp but all that pace, power, technique, and finishing is the work of Mane himself.
I'll put the finishing and movement down to inputs from the technical team.

The Dembele line was put forth just to buttress the point that it's not every player our rival signs that's worth it and not because I support his purchase. Look at people already hailing Liverpool for signing Tiago who is already 29 and injury prone but if we had signed him, the mood here would've been dampened...Jota who wasn't as important to Wolves as Traore is tagged an improvement even when Traore isn't rated by the same folks.

Ole has been here for one and a half season yet we still don't have an identity compared to Liverpool when Klopp first took charge or Manchester City with Pep.

I could argue that your take on Mane is not True. But we will never know what really is, will we? Mane was on the rise, that's for sure. But how much Klopp's coaching or Mane's person ambition and seriousness about getting better contributed to today's Mane may never be well-defined.
Okay, leave Mane out even though it is obvious that his movement and finishing has improved.
You can take a look at Henderson, Robertson, Wjinaldum etc.

Oh well.. Sack OGS and get a new coach. He too will demand for a quality squad depth. It is what it is.

And while at it, kindly tell the scouts to do their job, because it doesn’t seem like they are.

Thiago caught Covid-19 not injured, get your facts right.

Mane was mentioned as LVG target for 30m, Unuted fans abused him, asking for £90m Greizmann.

United is not among Elite clubs now performance wise, so getting Bale on loan for one year is not a disaster, and buy back clause on Regullion for 2 years is not a disaster too, if we can get his services for 2 years.

Na joke i dey joke. You all need to relax. That way you will have peace of mind. Let me give you my opinion.

1) In my opinion it is fully confirmed and certified that Ole is not tactically sound. Sooner or later (probably sooner) we need to get a forward thinking manager. Ole will have to go at some point IMO but it is still too early in the season for the kind of overreaction that has been seen on this thread. He has to be seen to have failed before he can be sacked. That is how jobs work, it is not normal to sack someone in anticipation of his failure cos no one knows tomorrow. No manager will get sacked after 2 games so Ole out people have to relax.........it is not happening soon.

2) The major issue we need to sort (which i have mentioned before) is not sacking Ole, but getting the right manager to replace him. If we hurriedly sack and appoint like we did with JM/Ole we will be back in this same position in 2years.

3) I don't think the manager we need to move forward is Poch. His teams played a boring, narrow, and physical style very reliant on peak Kane, Dembele, Ali, Eriksen. Immediately a number of those guys lost form his team collapsed. His system is not one that can work long term in a big club.
I don't see Poch as this extraordinary tactician especially in terms of attacking football and do not believe he is the right man for the job.

4) Even though Ole is tactically poor, i think the club could have done better in terms of player acquisition. JM made a number of mistakes in this regard and i believe Ole has done the same thing.
He has bought some decent players that stylistically are wrong for the team he is trying to build. Maguire is too slow to play the highline which we need to maintain a good press and keep good pressure on small teams, AWB is too unskilled to play for a big team as a RB (I warned people here about this before we bought him and now he gets criticized almost every match day for this).

Sometimes it is not about the individual quality of the player but how he fits in a system. Our team has been built like a mansion that had different sections designed by different architects. Ole, just like JM before him has to take a large chunk of the blame in this as well.

5) Finally, even with this squad our football should be much better. And we can't blame it all on fatigue. These problems have been there since last season but the quality of a number of our players allows us to get away with a poor system.
We don't know how to press as a team. We don't know how to play pass and move. We don't make use of triangles. Our full backs are rarely set up to have space in the final third because our side to side transition is SLOW.
All this is on Ole (NO MATTER THE QUALITY OF THE PLAYERS). Ole in people should accept this as well because i think this is what annoys others the most.

Oh well.. You can dig back to LVG’s time here, some of us on this thread didn’t support the signing of Greizmann.

Bale is very injury prone, I don’t really have to explain this further.

Guardiola has won 8 trophies in 4 years at city, including breaking the point total. We already know his quality. That cannot be said of Ole.

The truth is United fans want the high sounding record breaking signings instead of the humble decent and efficient acquisition. Greizmann transfer saga was exactly like that of Sancho. 90% of the fans were bullying the board to splash on Greizmann even with his ridiculous wages. You may not be among those asking for him at that time, just like me anyway.
