I didn't check this series until now cause I am still busy on Bates Motel (cc nairalandgirl : it's really dope although a slow starter unlike YOU but I really love it. I'm seeing season 4 now, thank you ) however, I don't think I will be downloading the prodigal son. I have checked its review and I am sorry to sound stingy but I won't like to use my data and time on series that rotten tomato rated 58%. Anything less than 70% on RT is a no-no. It might be dope like you've said but I prefer RT's hype .

It is darn Good. I never knew it would b this good judging from my prejudice it's an Islam themed show.

But Man, was I impressed.

The past 6-7 pages on this thread is all about homosexuality and show it disgusts some people and not others.

As for me the episode where Tic's dad was portrayed as gay and having sex, I had to forward it cos it's not something I like to watch, Hollywood movies and series these days portray the LGBT community in their movies as more actors are coming out as gay, I totally have nothing against it.

I enjoy nude heterosexual scenes, lesbian scenes also but only detest gay scenes, but you won't see me complain about it.

I developed a liking for Jules in Euphoria till I discovered she was trans in real life, but didn't stop me from liking her character. I'd homosexuality disgusts you that much, switch to other series and movies from other cultures.

Binged from Episode 5 to 9... Series keeps getting better... Was a borefest in the first episode, started progressing from the second, wasn't really hyped to see the series, reason I stopped at Episode 4... But now I cannot wait for the next episode... Weird series, dunno who is actually the bad guy... Thought it was the Church dudes at the end he beginning when they tried to eradicate the necromancer and steal Campion... The show was enlightening that's what I loved about it.
Also that episode "Where's my Country" was very good, where he visited his home Egypt only to find out they were more leaning to pro Western sentiments and ideology. The over religious or zealous Egypt he was hoping for wasn't what he met. He found out everyone were fighting their inner demons in their own way.

Yes, the Mithraic religion is more or less Christianity to me. It doesn't really seem odd to me. It's normal and isn't weird. Although it kinda suggest Catholicism.
