Okay, lets shake things up a bit.

I am not rich in terms of excess money, but I want to give someone 20k or two persons 10k or 4 people 5k each if they can genuinely tell us ten good things about our nation. Nobody is bankrolling me oh. Who wants to take the challenge?

I will sell my iPad to fund this gesture.

2) Nigeria is a land of opportunities..you can make money from anything.

3) Nigeria has great weather compare to other countries.

4) Nigerians are entrepreneurial. There is nothing we appreciate than being creative and this drives us to make things come to life.

5) There is no part of the world where you wouldn't see a 9jerian. We create business out of nothing & survive the worst economic recession because we are from NIGERIA.

6) We have a sense of oneness. We are quick to embrace other Nigerians as brothers & sisters once we realze dat dey come 4rm 9ja.

7) We are gifted & talented.

8. We support each other during bad times.

9) We love party and freebies..if u are broke, just gate-crash any owambe and enjoy..

Lol. Seeing the good in a certain situation or circumstance is only a matter of perspective. Ten things are too small, if we're to mention the good things about the country:

* Nigeria is the home to some of the most criminally creative masterminds in the world.

* Nigeria has proved that, in all circumstances, Africans are smarter: Case study, the Nigerians who go abroad for studies.

* "If you can survive in Lagos, you can survive anywhere". It has toughened its citizens to take on any challenge, unlike the majority of the soft-palmed people in other parts of the world.

* In 2019, Nigeria overtook South Africa again as the leading economy of Africa. What does that mean? Development and growth in Africa is now irrevocably tied to Nigeria.

* Nigeria is the big brother to at least five percent of the other countries in Africa. Funding, power supply, et cetera... Yeah, the leaders mismanage even this, but there you have it.

* Forget America. Nigeria is the land of opportunities. If you are willing to work hard, there is an endless supply of ways to make money in Nigeria, due to the populace.

* The cost of living in Nigeria is low. Damn it, you can pay a fine for dropping a biscuit wrapper on the street in Switzerland. Things are hard, but cost of living is low. We don't pay as many taxes.

* Nigeria is a cool, clean place to leave. In case you didn't notice, we live in the tropics. The sun we sometimes complain about is what the whites pay money to get access to. Most of the funny-sounding diseases we have in other countries are absent from here.

* Despite westernization, Nigeria is a culture-rich country that has served as the protector of some of the most historic artifacts still present in the world today. Cultural preservation is fast becoming a thing of the past.

* There is freedom in Nigeria. Religion, speech, movement are some of the rights we enjoy in Nigeria that are plentifully absent in other countries.

I could go on, but I think you get the point

Please, I need a favour from you. Can you do us the honours by selecting the winners. Can you also decide how the money shall be disbursed, 1, 2 or 5 persons? Use reasonable criteria please. I am only sparing 20k please. I don't have much, so any inbox solicitations would not be responded to.

I shall make disbursements tonight at 9pm West Africa Time (WAT).
