This government just take us for a fool. I really don't understand why they left the whole of Africa where we can reasonably compare and then, run down to Saudi Arabia as if what is obtainable there is what applies to Nigeria.

Why not compare with Angola, the next competition with Nigeria on crude oil production? In Angola, fuel pump price is far lesser than what we have in Nigeria.

If he is also considering outside the country, why didn't he compare Nigeria to Luxembourg where public transport is free and their education is practically very cheap while their citizens are proud of their country.

It is even shameful to mention herdsmen and farmers tax in this matter. Tax is meant for development and can never be classed. Tax is tax irrespective of whoever is paying this.

He needs to then, tell us how much tax the so called herdsmen pay and how the government go about collecting tax from herdsmen. Isn't it sick for him to have mentioned herdsmen in this? It justifies how this government supports those who are ready to kill her citizens than being realistic.

This govt has some set of foolish officials. How can anyone in his right sense attribute a substantial amount of revenue receipt from herdsman when we know clearly that the companies/ corporate organization and private individuals are the major contributors to tax revenue in the country. Who live in urban settlement and mostly power their economic activities on generators. What a shame! This govt is all about incompetence.

FG can use urban dwellers VAT and tax to subsidise farm inputs and ferterlizers, give interest free loans to heardsmen, provide logistics, transportation with petrol subsidy benefits and warehousing to bring cows, poultry and farm outputs at higher cost to urban dwellers. Can Garba show us reliable statics of heardsmen that pay tax in Nigeria?Urban dwellers tax can be used to fund govt officials medical trips and the tax can be looted to finance luxurious lifestyles of people in government. If someone is not intelligent, at least one should be brilliant enough to hide his foolishness or can we call this deliberate public display of stupidity to further hurt the sensibility of Nigerians. It is so heartbreaking to know that subsidy was removed because of Fulani herdsmen, what a country!
