Dwight Howard went from zero tattoos to all over and then some more and still balling like its 2009. Wow. |

I often find myself rooting for the Heat to make things competitive. |

Man, I haven't seen Rondo miss that left wing 3 in a very long time. |

Duncan Robinson has been awful. |

This series is just a mismatch of epic proportions. It was with Bam and Dragic, obviously even more so without them. |

When are we going to start talking about how great of a coach Frank Vogel is? |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 4:21am On Oct 03, 2020 |
Roland17: I still don't understand how your team couldn't figure out this rudimentary gimmick defense. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 4:25am On Oct 03, 2020 |
Kevin Mchale once said, if you make Micheal Jordan take only 15 shots you have already beaten him, but players like Magic, Bird and Lebron can not only destroy you when taking only 15 shots but they will while doing that control the whole game. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:34am On Oct 03, 2020 |
WeissVonner: You have no idea how embarrasing it is for me. We made the Heat look better than they actually were. Evidently, Spoelstra was using the zone to hide Herro and Robinson because both are horrible 1v1 defenders as evident in the last 2 games. Well Vogel was not buying it and he made sure the player inside the box was super aggressive with the ball. I said this throughout the series and it is frustrating to see. |

Danny green must be a free mason. Dropping bricks back to back Good victory despite the poor shooting. This looks like a sweep. The east is still quite weak. Hopefully the game changer will be the Nets, if the cry babies Durant and Irving can get their act together (which is doubtful character wise). |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:18am On Oct 03, 2020 |
WeissVonner:You have still not shown where I said LeNomad wanted the season over. At worst he had reluctant teammates. You have absolutely no argument here |

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:31am On Oct 03, 2020 |
Roland17: That has to be on Brad Stevens. For all that's made about how great of a coach he is he sh-t the bed with this one. You'd have also done well with a better playmaking point guard like Rondo to be able to make the reads and swing the pass to the right places. Kemba is a good though inconsistent scorer. His shot creation leaves a lot to be desired. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:33am On Oct 03, 2020 |
Afr0mentalist: The bricked threes aren't much of a factor now because he's playing good defense and the Lakers are winning. But I'm thinking about next year against a team like Golden State, a stat line like this from him and KCP won't be so funny. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:49am On Oct 03, 2020 |
DeeMain:This is an awful take. Other teams were ready because? MJ returned March after almost two years out of basketball. You thought they would just romp to a title? Rodman needed the Bulls more than the Bulls needed Rodman. They won a whole 3peat without him and he was a complete non factor in at least one of the 3peats Can also say no Ray Allen and LeNomad is on 2 rings as we speak |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 5:58am On Oct 03, 2020 |
WeissVonner:You always like arguing without applying full context. This was a player the anti Jordan crowd swore was absolutely crucial to the Bulls second 3peat (which he was, like Rondo, Markieff and Caruso are to these Lakers) but I proved to you that the Bulls also won despite his numbers being down across board. What does this have to do with Steph? You're fond of using incorrect analogies His minutes were lower than average, his boards were lower, his points were lower, everything was lower. I zoomed in that particular season to show you that he contributed little that postseason and the team still won |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:07am On Oct 03, 2020 |
WeissVonner:That was obviously hyperbole but ok say she deserves something some type of settlement. She should get something but for how long. Why are we treating marriage like some pension plan? What if he was broke? She sure as hell doesn't deserve $1.5m a month |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 6:52am On Oct 03, 2020 |
WeissVonner:How many teams had healthy players that simply refused to show up to the bubble, had players openly muse about whether to play or not and voted to get out. Answers on a postcard WeissVonner:Last year's numbers were better. And we had more sports then. Not an excuse WeissVonner:This is Magic Johnson the GOAT PG not some scrub. Looking at Pippen's numbers you cannot with a straight face tell me he did a much better job. MJ guarded everybody is the point. From Clyde to Hardaway (Penny and Tim) he backed down from nobody. Hell I have footage of him at 40 guarding Shawn Marion and Latrell Sprewell. All I want to do is dead this narrative that Pippen was doing all the defensive work. That is a white hot lie and I'm glad you indicted yourself with that post WeissVonner:You're doing the spinaroonie at this point. You claimed MJ was being torched. How is 4/5 from the field with 5 turnovers the entire game 'torched' when they only won by 2. Ok so what happened in Game 3 where the Bulls were down double digits late in the second half with Pippen in foul trouble and fouling out eventually. Why didn't momentum shift then? Your stat shows Jordan guarded Magic 61% of the time the entire series. That stat alone rubbishes your entire argument. Unless you're suggesting Jordan guards Magic 100% of the time WeissVonner:There is nothing Pippen did that MJ couldn't do in his sleep. But MJ was never a stat padding hog like LeNomad. He allowed everyone shine in their roles. In 1991, 1993 and 97. MJ led Pippen in two of the top 3 stats categories. The rest is for Stat padding LeStatPad fans to debate. I have made my point to show he did a lot more than score WeissVonner:Rebounds or no rebounds you are still going to have to score a basket. I can show you numerous instances of outrebounded teams still winning ball games, In tight half court basketball in the playoffs you're still going to need players that will go out there and give you unassisted buckets Scoring is the single most important thing in basketball. Everything else is still a means to an end which is outscoring your opponents WeissVonner:Even LeNomad and the Heatles needed reinforcements so that one is neither here nor there WeissVonner:Greg friggin Popovich? You said that like he was a made man in the league. Remind me what he had done in 99 again? Kobe,Glen Rice, Robert Horry and Rick Fox is enough to at least not get swept. WeissVonner:If you think all MJ did was just score then clearly I have been wasting my time here. |

Re: The NBA Begins by DeeMain(m): 7:05am On Oct 03, 2020 |
A40: Books and documentaries and interviews have been written and done on this. No need to argue bro. We know who needed who, who shamelessly went for a sworn enemy and who bent over backwards to get who and who didn't give a damn if he played for the Bulls or not and told them so. Revisionists, I hail you all |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:23am On Oct 03, 2020 |
DeeMain:Plug any decent role player there and it would have been same result. Books and documentaries have nothing to do with what transpired on the court. The Bulls brought him back to relevancy and he would have never been this pop culture phenom if he continued wasting his contributions in San Antonio. He was there in San Antonio in a pretty solid team. They won nothing. Why didn't he propel them to anything? The only reason we are here talking about Dennis Rodman today is because he played for the Bulls else he's just Ben Wallace with a little more rebounds |

The Lakers are winning the chip. There's levels to this shit abeg. Dragic, Butler and Bam's injury won't help either. These media people should stop acting like the Lakers aren't good. Like I said, there's levels to this shít. I'm laughing at fold finding it hard to accept that the Lakers are good. Fúck Kawhi and the Clippers though. Biggest frauds in LA. |
