Rather Google showed "miss world" search query, and since you are searching from Nigeria, Google rank websites referencing Agbani darego who won the miss world as a Nigerian.

And also if any website have the keyword "ugliest miss world" and tagged Agbani darego as the ugliest, its not Google's fault. Google only uses algorithms, analytics, and website ranking to show search results from the search queries you provided


Why would anyone in his or her right mind even search for "ugliest miss word", you can't attribute ugliness to a miss world contest.

Nigerian are responsible for whatever Google spill out about Agbani Darego. When this lady was crown, the criticism generated among Nigerian was beyond sentiment. I remember an article I read on a particular daily in 2001 titled "There miss world". The writer criticized the choice of Agbani Darego as the stereotype western view of beauty. He claimed Darego thin figure can not pass for African view of beauty, as though beauty isn't universal. I think many Nigerian now see beauty in slimness

I searched that keyword from here in the US and i got "Elizabeth Anne Velásquez".

Google answers are generated by algorithm which is mainly data from users in the region you are.

Agbani became more beautiful after winning the Miss World contest if you compare her pictures back then & now.

As at the time she won, a lot of people were quite surprised becuz there were other contestants who were much more beautiful.

But it's wrong for anyone to refer to her as ugly cuz she's definitely not ugly.

Nigerians need to understand how Google answers work depending on your region.
