Well I am familiar with most of the places you mentioned at Abraka as I was once a student there. Though during my time( from 2005) I did not really experienced or heard of such dreadful act even though I stayed around those places, e.g Monkey joint, beach land. I don't know if you remember one dreadful Eiye boy whose name is Chika, he stays around College road, he specialises in rapping and maiming students then at pedigree. There was one time i heard he caused a big problem and the men who came to retaliate burnt down his family house( his father is an Igbo while mother is from Abraka) at College road. Don't really know if he is still alive now cause that boy really terrorise college road.

of course, cultism cannot be ruled out. A militia group has a cult oriented philosophy which most times lure people with an affinity to a cult group.
