Happy sunday FireRain.. Man from st Petersburg, very make sense old school spy story. Enjoy the ride. The century trilogy goes through three generations of families in America and Europe. It tells their individual stories and triumphs. It vividly describes behind the scenes stories of both world wars and the cold war. The second book in the series is actually my favourite World war2 book. You will not regret reading the series, this i promise. 1 Like |

So i just finished reading all 1500 pages of Atlas Shrugged. Took me almost a month to digest it all. It was as if i was going through a philososophy text . It pits agressive capitalism against unhealthy socialism. The main characters are strong and successful persons that fight parasitic government intervention. See ehnn.. y' all all need to read this book, i am not good at summaries. I will rate it 9/10. WHO IS JOHN GALT?? FireRain food don land. 1 Like |

I recommend this book for entrepreneurs, business men and women and prospective entrepreneurs. THE LEAN START UP by ERIC RIES. Most startups fail. But many of those failures are preventable. The Lean Startup is a new approach being adopted across the globe, changing the way companies are built and new products are launched. Eric Ries defines a startup as an organization dedicated to creating something new under conditions of extreme uncertainty. This is just as true for one person in a garage or a group of seasoned professionals in a Fortune 500 boardroom. What they have in common is a mission to penetrate that fog of uncertainty to discover a successful path to a sustainable business. The Lean Startup approach fosters companies that are both more capital efficient and that leverage human creativity more effectively. Inspired by lessons from lean manufacturing, it relies on “validated learning,” rapid scientific experimentation, as well as a number of counter-intuitive practices that shorten product development cycles, measure actual progress without resorting to vanity metrics, and learn what customers really want. It enables a company to shift directions with agility, altering plans inch by inch, minute by minute. Rather than wasting time creating elaborate business plans, The Lean Startup offers entrepreneurs—in companies of all sizes—a way to test their vision continuously, to adapt and adjust before it’s too late. Ries provides a scientific approach to creating and managing successful startups in a age when companies need to innovate more than ever.I highly recommend this book. FireRain: Stay with Me is the first book by a Nigerian author that I did not like. The plot is like the script for a Nollywood movie. |

Predator by Patricia Cornwell. I'll rate the book 10/10. I'm still reading Think Like a Champion by Donald J Trump but I'll still rate it 8/10 cos it's really educative and interesting. |

Very interesting question. I am reading three books at the moment. They, with corresponding scores and their cover pages, are 1.) Uncommon knowledge: the economist explains Ed. Tom Standage: Score 8 2.) A brief history of time, Stephen Hawking: Score 8 3.) Homo Deus, Yuval Noah Harari: Score 10 (Some of the best books I have ever read were written by Yuval) Hathor5:

bizme: I find Yuval Noah Harari too pessimistic at times and Hawking's book is still on my reading list. Thanks for sharing. |

Oh I love Yuval's writings... I think I am the worst-case-scenario kind of person, so I relish his pessimistic (if not atheistic) tone. Hathor5: |
