The best way is to mandate members of the public to report sightings of SARS or any tactical units anywhere doing patrols or mounting roadblocks, and for the immediate dismissal of the commanding officer/DPO/Area Commander overseeing that unit.

We don't want to see SARS or any special unit at all at all again. All policemen on routine duty should wear their uniforms with name tags.

Yes, I don't live in Nigeria. But let's be logical. They stopped the police from stopping and searching people a long time ago (I didn't hear of this) and that wasn't implemented. You complained afterwards and nothing was done about it. That's sad. Now they have placed some restrictions on SARS. You're complaining in advance that it will not be implemented? If you are not willing to wait and see if it will be audio or not, why ask for it in the first place? What exactly were you clamoring for if you had already made up your mind that nothing good could ever come out of the government?

Criticizing the government is good but it's only productive when done logically. Illogical/sentimental criticisms based on assumptions make it difficult for anyone to know when a step is made in the right direction.
