Well, time will tell. Tobias is not in the list afterall. But nothing stops him from showing up to train with our lads if Rohr wills it.

Olulong:

Oga Nerdy, I just remembered self. Super Eagles media officer on his interview on sports zone on Friday said there will 4 goalies in camp or maybe he's not aware of Tobias stance

Are you disputing that we have a Number 1 choice GK or you just want to drag this discussion unnecessarily Chris? Everyone knows Uzoho is Number 1. What is there to even prove? Tell me.

Our number 1 has been out for long, it won't hurt to have someone push him really hard for that position when he comes back. Rohr should make Tobias understand that he stands a chance of pushing him for the position.

Maduka and Alampasu are simply not up to scratch.

Are you still not getting the part where I said Rohr did his best convincing the lad he stands a chance with us? Rohr told him he stands a very good chance with us and as long as he keeps playing, he could become a main stay in our side. Rohr told him these and more yet the lad withdrew from the side. His name was on the list but got swapped at the last minute for Yakubu. Please understand that.

Also, our number 1 being out for long was the reason Rohr turned to Tobias and Alampasu in the first place to come push Okoye hard. It doesn't mean we still don't know who our Number 1 is. The coaching crew and those who follow the team keenly who Uzoho is the Number 1. Tu comprends? wink

Alampasu is not good enough sir. Suffer or no suffer, Tobias is levels ahead of both Maduka and Alampasu. Osigwe also is better than both

My point is simple. Rohr has already done what you are saying he should do. Any other development on Tobias will be as a result of him having a change of heart and Rohr being reached out to of Tobias' readiness. Finito.

Tobias Lawal finished as the best player for his side even though they lost 3-0 today. He made six saves. Four saves from inside the box.

LASK also had a red card with scores at 2-0.

His first start waa a loss but wasn't so bad on a personal level.

Official: Juve-Napoli goes ahead

Football Italia

The Lega Calcio Serie A confirms that tonight’s Juventus-Napoli clash is on and that the Azzurri’s request to postpone the game has been rejected.

“Following Napoli’s official request [to postpone the game] the Lega Calcio states that the current rules aim to guarantee the health of everybody, the equal treatment for all clubs and the respect of the principals of sportsmanship.

“The statement of ASL Campania asks fiduciary isolation for the close contacts of Piotr Zielinski. Therefore, in this case it is applied the FIGC protocol agreed with the Technical-Scientific Committee and integrated with the notice of the Italian Health Minister on June 18, 2020. That was not taken into account in the email sent by the vice-head of cabinet of the Regione Campania.

“The same rule was applied to other cases in the past and, for instance, it allowed Torino to play against Atalanta, Milan’s trip to Crotone, Genoa’s away game at the San Paolo vs. Napoli and Atalanta’s home match against Cagliari.

“Even if there are cases of players in the group who tested positive for Coronavirus, the protocol provides certain and mandatory rules that allow to play games fielding all the footballers who tested negative through exams undergone within the time range given by the health authorities.

“The Council of the Lega Calcio did also approve a set of rules that can lead to the postponement of game only with several cases of players positive to the virus. These conditions can’t be applied to the current Napoli case at the moment and there are no decisions of the local authorities that prevent the game from being played.”

The Lega Serie A protocol is the same as the UEFA one, so as long as a team has 13 players available including a goalkeeper, the game can go ahead.

Juventus have been following their regular matchday schedule today. The team had a training session at the Continassa in the morning before having lunch. The group will leave for the Allianz Stadium at 7.30 local time.

The Bianconeri will show up at the Stadium tonight. If Napoli won’t be there, the referee will wait 45 minutes and then blow the final whistle. In that case, Napoli that could be handed a 3-0 defeat by default.

Napoli did not travel..so definitely the game won't be played..
So its up to the FA to either postpone, or award 3points to juventus

Our gk should be inspired by Mendy who just joined Chelsea

Few years back dude was clubless and playing in league 2

I wish we had GK like the Senegalese
