Hopefully the full implementation of this nice gesture is as quick as how fuel price hike implementation happens. In my opinion, educators deserve robust salaries & honourable treatments in dis Nation!

They contribute immeasurably more 2 national development or nation building than dis thieving political office holders dt d country keeps squandering millions of naira on 4 doing overly nothing!

Whatever level of education or sophistication anybody has, teachers play pivotal roles in making it possible, yet they are d most despised & mistreated!

No student ever asked what they'd like 2 bcom in future who ever sincerely said a teacher, wich is undisconnected wit d existing ill-treatment meted at d profession by d govt & all!

Meanwhile, I really do hope dis increament wil soonest be implemented, not like d #30,000 minimum wage dt's stil till 2day a subject of disputation among governors even after one year of Federal approval!

I wanted to type a long epistle on how getting the best brains from the myriads of graduates roaming the streets of Nigeria seeking for imaginary jobs and motivating them with good pay-cheque will have a multiplier effect in producing educated populace which will reflect on the society....but I don't have strength. Just coming from a long walk within the Caton of Zurich in Switzerland

WHAT IS THE SPECIAL SALARY SCALE?

Sparogatively, before I commend this, I would like to know what the Special Salary Scale is.

I can not be commending rubbish, because this adminstration can not be trusted at all.

Honestly this is long overdue.

I remembered 2015 when I was posted to Akwa Ibom to serve, after camp I was posted to a remote village to teach.

I was teaching social studies, biology and civic education.

Social studies from Jss1 to 3 and civic education from jss1 to ss3 and biology from ss1 to ss3.

It was not easy at all, marking and preparing note just to make sure that you impact these kids was not easy.

And standing before alot of student to explain, no be easy job at all
