nice line up only issue i have is KC starting as top 9. he doesn't play too well with back to goal. would rather either of Onuachu or Dessers start. KC would function better with a strike partner so he can play just behind the leading attacker.

P.S. Balogun should start. Semi and Awaziem playing together is a no no for now

but you remember the Nigeria vs Zambia game in lusaka during the last world cup qualifiers
him and Iwobi did well, nacho can play as a 9...all he needs do is to inter change with either Iwobi sometimes
or one of the wingers drift in as 9 depending on who is with the ball

Good evening everyone, any news on the TV channels that will air Super Eagles friendly match?

Iheanacho is still inefficient as a lone striker, Osimhen drifts but he is comfortable in the middle. I'm not convinced about the quality of Agu, I prefer Azeez and Onyeka combination, two hardworking midfielders but technical enough to get the ball to Iwobi

About Awaziem he has been average at best in the Portuguese league similar to Semi Ajayi's performance at West Brom, Balogun has put much better performance at a higher level at Rangers

Iheanacho played lone in the EPL last season and deserves it going by the season he had.

Balogun has been playing on Scottish premiership matches how is that an higher level than Portugal?

By the way today is transfer deadline day, which transfer for a Nigerian player will still happen?

Onyeka? Sadiq Umar? Dennis Bonaventure?

Has he impressed in the matches he played as a lone striker? I don't think so, his best moments are ones he played behind Vardy

Balogun has been more impressive than Awaziem this season

This is how I would line up against Algeria given the circumstances. I believe Agu and Onyeka might be a match made in heaven because they compliment each other's quality. Agu sits back and gives passes to start of the attack while Onyeka does everything box to box so there won't be an issue of getting in anyone's way like when Etebo and Ndidi play.

Either way it goes we will have quality players both on the field and on the bench

Desser in for nacho
Balo in for semi
Ebuehi in for aina
Azzez in for onyeka ( thats if he is called on)
Okoye in for alampasu

‘He Will Be A Big Plus For Us’- Parker Hails Lookman After Impressive Premier League Debut For Fulham

Fulham manager Scott Parker has heaped praise on Ademola Lookman after the club’s new recruit impressed on his Premier League debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.

Parker lit up the Molineux after replacing Ivan Cavaleiro in the 67th minute.

The 22-year-old was a thorn in the flesh of the home team’s defenders causing problems with his dribbling runs and trickery on the ball.

“Ademola looked another level up,” Parker told the club’s website.

“He has big quality, but we knew that at the start of the window. He was my main one I wanted in.

“I was calling for him and you’ve seen in such a short space of time at Brentford and now today – he has unbelievable quality and he’ll be a big plus for us this year.”

Questions like these are very annoying and imo not necessary.. It seems like a subtle sub at someone

I believe nobody in here sit at the comfort of his room to come up with transfer speculations

To what end? Cheap nairaland likes and Hooyah celebrations?

Transfer news are posted as seen and if the player failed to move, is shouldn't be an avenue where you go like Shey you said

He(Jololo) was linked with numerous clubs as well as Dennis, but it seems the links weren't fruitful, if you got a problem with that, approach his agent

Our game against Zambia was played at Ndola and Brown Ideye started as the centre-forward. Iheanacho played behind him.

read on twitter that the NFF invited interested TV stations to come discuss with them the modalities for airing the match. with 4 days to go i won't hold my breath on the chances of the game being aired.

I wonder why our local TV stations stopped airing our friendly matches..

I remember watching our friendly against Peru around 1am in the morning on AIT and another one against Jordan, also on AIT.
These days, our TV stations are more involved in political affairs...

Every bloody transfer starts with a speculation before it grows into a move... So what's the biggie?

Because NFF have turned it them to money making centers. They bill them anyhow.....the only thing they care about the most is more money.

That's why they aren't bothered the league isn't televised for a whole season. Who does that?

the big issue is the lack of OB vans. The ones they had are presently unservicable.
